Sirus' anger and bitterness kept growing as he stormed off, not even bothering to hide his tears. He felt so broken within, that he just couldn't do anything else. He hated everyone for not seeing what he saw. He hated his father and his mother for loving his little sis only. But most of all, he hated Serena. He blamed her for everything that was wrong in his world. What was she so special? He couldn't think anymore, his anger was boiling like a tea kettle at that point. He stormed off into the woods.

Sirus was no where to be found for the rest of the day. He was heartbroken by his mother's words. Eres looked all around the castle for him but he was nowhere. Eres was beginning to worry at this point. He had looked everywhere he could think of, but he couldn't find his brother. He was starting to get worried that he had stormed off into the woods, and had gotten lost in his anger and bitterness. Eres sighed softly, he hoped that his brother would be safe. He knew that his older brother was the type to sulk for days before finally talking about his feelings. He just hoped that Sirus would come back soon. "Where's Sirus? I haven't seen him all day.." Serena asked worried for her brother. Eres sighs and gives her a soft smile. "Im sure hes fine. He'll be back later."

The night passed, yet there was still no sign of Sirus. Eres was becoming more and more worried, he couldn't sleep. He felt like a heavy weight was on his shoulders.
In the morning, Sirus still wasn't home. Eres went out to look for him, this time he wasn't looking in the castle. He knew that his brother had probably stormed off, which meant that he could be anywhere. After a long day of searching, Eres finally found his younger brother deep in the woods. Sirus was sitting against a tree, crying. "Sirus..."  Eres' voiced trailed off as he saw his brother. Sirus glanced at Eres and tried his best to wipe his wet eyes. Eres walked towards Sirus and sat next to him, silent. Eres knew what his brother was going through, and he knew that he had to be with him in that moment. After a moment, Eres put his arm around his older brother's shoulder. Sirus leaned into his older brother's touch, and he sighed heavily. He was still angry and hurt, but he couldn't deny the warmth of his little brother's presence.

It's the royal ball, The castle is filled to the brim with guests and servants. Queen Elaine and Alitar were dressed up in their best regalia, and the royal family was sitting in their seats near the royal podium. Alitar was speaking when Eres and Sirus appeared. Their father glanced back at them with irritation. "Finally," Alitar murmured, he looked as sour as ever. Eres was dressed in a crisp black tuxedo, while Sirus looked like he rolled out of bed. Sirus looked tired and sullen, as he took his seat without saying a word. Eres sat down next to him, glancing over at his brother. "Daddy!" Serenas voice yelled out for her father giggling. *Alitar's eyes brightened when he saw his little princess. Serena ran over to him with a huge smile on her face, she was eager for her father's attention today. Alitar smiled brightly at his daughter. Serena was wearing a puffy pink dress with light pink gold sleeve gloves.

"My little girl is stunning," Alituar said proudly as Serena grinned gleefully

"My little girl is stunning," Alituar said proudly as Serena grinned gleefully. Eres shot Serena a glance and rolled his eyes a little, he hated how much attention their spoiled sister was getting. Sirus just sighed and stared straight ahead. Elaine looked at her sons with concern and guilt as Serena is given all the attention. Elaine was feeling extremely guilty, she knew that her boys were hurt because of their father's favoritism. She didn't want to deal with it today, she just wanted to enjoy the ball with all of the other royal families. She tried to smile gently at her boys, hoping that they would forget about their problems for now and just have fun on the ball. Of course, this didn't work in the slightest. Sirus noticed his mother's forced smile, he knew that she was trying to avoid the issue at hand. He gave her a disdainful stare that instantly made her feel incredibly guilty.

As the ball continues Serena approaches Sirus with a smile holding a drink. "Hi Si! Whatcha doin?" Serena said in a cheerful sing-song voice. Sirus looked up and glared coldly at his younger sister, he wasn't in the mood to deal with her today. He could already see that she had her little drink in hand, he knew that she was going to be a nightmare as usual. Sirus gritted his teeth and replied back in a cold, quiet tone. "You're the last person I want to see right now, get away from me." Serena frowned slightly looking hurt by his harsh words. "What do you mean? What did I do?"  Sirus groaned and rolled his eyes, he couldn't believe how dense she could be sometimes. Sirus looked at his younger sister with disdain, the spoiled princess wasn't used to someone speaking back to her like that.

"You know very well what you did, now leave me alone. I'm trying to be civil here, but you're not helping," Sirus was practically growling in anger, his patience had been completely worn thin by his little sister. Serenas eyes widened at his words. "Why are you being so mean?" Serena mumbled quietly. *Sirus couldn't control his anger anymore, his little sister was going to ruin his mood all night if he kept her around any longer. "Listen, you little spoiled brat, I'm not in the mood for your tantrums. Just leave me alone and go bother someone else. I don't want anything to do with you."

Sirus' anger grew stronger with every word, he knew it wasn't Serena's fault that their father favored her. But, he was still very resentful about the situation. "I'm trying to be nice! Why are you always so mean to me!? I'm your sister and you never talk to me!" Serena crys looking at him with glossy blue eyes, something about her words made Sirus snap. Sirus grew silent for a moment as his younger sister's words hit home. She was right, he never talked to her. In fact, he avoided her like the plague and made a huge effort to ignore her. But maybe that's because he didn't trust that she wouldn't run right back to their father and tell him every little thing.

"Maybe if you didn't report every little thing I do to father and didn't beg him for attention every five seconds, we could have something resembling a relationship."

"I don't! I only tell him when you're being a jerk! I did nothing to you!"

Sirus clenched his jaw as he looked away from his little sister. The fact that she couldn't even admit to her bad behavior just made him angry all over again. He tried to keep his cool, but after a moment he just couldn't. Sirus turned back to face his younger sister.
"Oh yeah? Then why is it that he's always praising you whenever you breathe? Why is it that he only wants to talk to you and not me? No matter what I do, it's never enough."
"Daddy says its because I'm special and a girl. While you and Eres are boys and don't need much affection." Serena said repeateding what her father told her. Sirus' stomach churned as his little sister repeated the lies their father had fed her. He couldn't believe how much his father had twisted his own words to make it seem like he didn't even want to pay attention to his sons. Sirus wanted to scream.

"That's a load of bullshit, and you should know it. He just spoiled you because you're his favourite. Well, I'm sick of the favouritism, and I'm sick of you."

"I'm not the favorite-"

"YES YOU ARE! I HATE YOU!" Sirus snapped when his little sister tried to deny the favouritism. The cup of wine sailed through the air and spilled across Serena's dress, ruining her perfect ball gown. It was the last straw for Sirus, he couldn't control his emotions anymore."YOU ARE THE FAVOURITE! ME AND ERES HATE YOU! EVERYONE HATES YOU! YOU'RE JUST A DAMN BRAT! I HOPE YOU DIE!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. Everybody turned to look at the scene. Serena burst into tears looking at her favorite pink dress now ruined and stained with wine. She couldn't believe her brother would say such things to her.

"I- I'm sorry- I just wanted- I just wanted to make you feel better..." Serena sobbed  backing away from him. Sirus' face softened as he saw his little sister's tears. He regretted what he said immediately, he didn't mean it. The last thing he wanted was for his little sister to cry.

"Serena..." Sirus' voice trailed off, he wanted to apologize. But as soon as the thought crossed his mind, Alitar was there. His father's eyes were burning with rage as he glared at Sirus. But his father's eyes weren't the only ones on him. Eres was looking at him with disappointment and disbelief. Eres immediately pulled Serena away who was still sobbing Alitar approached as well giving Sirus the death look. Elaine was shocked by her sons actions towards his little sister.
"Sirus. How could you be so cruel to your little sister?" Elaine said with a disappointed tone.
