WHAT ABOUT NOW

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

My best friend just left me...
She is not returning....
She chose to be with him...
She doesn't need your attention...
And the sad part of all....she loves someone else.....

Those words keep haunting me as I lay in the bed the whole day mopping by myself. Aunt Stella already knocked twice when I didn't answer she stopped thinking maybe I was asleep.

I had dreamt of our childhood memories...when I always pick a fight just to be a hero for Dana..I had fallen in love to her since then, I just didn't have the guts to tell her..and now it was too late... My reverie was interrupted when Sheena called on my cell.

"Baby are you ok? I haven't heard from you..we have to talk." It was weird hearing her voice, especially when I was daydreaming about Dana..

"I'm sorry, I will be home tomorrow." I replied and she insist on me being home soon, she suggested to pick me up at the airport and I told her she doesn't need to as the flight may be delayed. But in truth I just don't want her to see me arrive with Dana.

I went out of the room and played with Cara to keep my mind away from Dana. We did some grocery shopping and Aunt Stella gave me advice to follow my heart, but with precaution..and I have to be sensitive to other people's feelings as well. Which I find it difficult to take on her advice as my heart just yells Dana!

The day of our departure came and lucky for her she was able to convince the mom of her boyfriend that Ethan will come with her, I guess she really made a good impression for her to sacrifice her son and be away for miles from him.

He was holding Dana tight on her waist, claiming her. Making me see where I stand. We bid our goodbyes and went straight inside the airplane. We were seating in the middle aisle and Dana suggested to seat in between us, I sighed in relief.

After a lot of turbulence I decided to nap. Dana just woke me up when the plane landed. Whew! I just got a much needed sleep. And my neck hurts from the position I was in before. Airplane rides are not really my thing. I don't know if I'm gonna yell yahoo for seeing her in person because I could not wait, or regret even coming...I think I'll go for the latter.

Dana's mom approached us and they gave me a lift. She introduced her boyfriend and I can tell from the way they talk to him that he had won their hearts. The battle is finished we are definitely done.

Upon reaching home Sheena was waiting for me. Mom said she stayed there for the night eager to see me. I guess I am still lucky to have someone yearn for me like this. Maybe this is a sign that I really should focus on my life and my current girl.

She hugged me tight and we headed to my room. My mom just shook her head, "ah..young love..be safe!" She yelled which made me blush as we closed my bedroom door and I guess you already knew what happened next....

We stayed there in my bed cuddling each other, the morning after...then I asked her what is it about that she wanted to tell me..

"Okay honey, are you ready for this?" She removed the sheets away from her and her bare breasts greeting me..as she took my hand and placed it on her warm tummy..
"You're gonna be a daddy!" What?!? I almost jumped from my bed.

"Whoah! Seriously?" I asked as she looked hurt but nodded. I am going to be a daddy..I should be happy..but why I don't feel anything?

Obviously hurt by my reaction she stomped naked in my bathroom and started to take a shower. She locked herself in But I can hear her sobbing hysterically.

"Sheena open the door! I'm sorry, I was just surprised." I made up an excuse, what an idiot! How could you let this happen? Now how can you bring Dana back? You're tied to her loser! That's my conscience blaming me for being reckless.

After almost half an hour she went out still in tears and I hugged her tight. "I love you asshole." She whispered in my ears. I smiled at the comment and within seconds we were spooning each other in the bed. To make her feel better I fucked her brains out and she enjoyed every minute of it. We were totally addicted to each other's body that we forgot we are in my parents house.

After one week Dana and I never spoke again I decided to focus on being a dad. My mom was more than eager to arrange the wedding. We decided to get married before her tummy shows and with Sheena's parents blessing they gave us their house and my parents decided to buy us a rest house on the countryside for a family vacation spree.

With all the blessings I am receiving I guess it is really our destiny to be with each other. I have no complaints with Sheena other than she wants sex all the time. After a month we sent out our invitations. Sheena got her dress prepped up with Dana's help. My best friend was so happy for me and instantly I became buds with Ethan as I am positive it gave him a relief that I am not after Dana anymore.

We had a wonderful wedding after a month preparation and within the five months Dana got married as well, but she wasn't pregnant like Sheena. After they got married Ethan brought her back to London and they decided to create a family there.

We kept in touch by skype and chat and we did not lose our friendship and we promised each other to meet up every two years to catch up in each other's lives.
