Chapter 18

-Peter pov-

Everything since the convention has been way too quiet. I have been with the girls and watching over Harry. I have no idea what we are going to be doing soon. I have no updates on what has been happening in general.

That is until I hear the alarms blaring. I am amongst everyone as we suit up and take off. We are downtown when I gets darker. We all look up and my jaw drops at what I see.

In the sky is a giant man with a purple helmet. I look at the Fantastic Four to see a silver man with them. He seems to be on our side but I am sure he was with him too. I look back at the guy before looking to Sam.

"What do we do?" Sam points and I follow his point toward aliens coming at us "He had three other people?"

"We fight till we can not fight anymore" Sam gets the shield ready "AVENGERS! ASSEMBLE!"

We charge at the aliens as they charge us. I see someone like the Nova we met and I help our Nova take her out. We fight tooth and nail against her while the others fight against the other threats.

-Wanda pov-

"FIRE EVERYWHERE!" I dodge while Pietro runs around "Get the people to safety!"

"Could use some help?" I smile as nun chucks hit the pyromaniac in the head "Defenders! Defend!"

"Funny" Sam smirks as Matt chuckles "Let's keep that humor for after we whoop some ass"

"Deal"

This is gonna get only more fun!

-Stephanie pov-

"What are the ways to solve this?" I look at Reed and Silver Surfer "How do we beat him?"

"There are only a few ways" Silver sighs as he shakes his head "Reed has not made the gun and you all have no cosmic cube"

"I have an idea" We all turn toward Thor and I get a bad feeling growing in my head "I can use myself"

"He has been possessed" We all turn toward Silver "Someone is in him"

"I come from many of universe and many of universe I have destroyed" Thor walks toward us "I will destroy Galactus and then come to destroy you all as well"

"Stand down" I hold up my hands but nothing happens "What is going on?"

"I control what happens now" Thor smiles "I am Black Winter"

We are all thrown at the walls as everything starts sparking. We all are stuck watching as air leaves us slowly. Things are catching on fire all around us. Silver charges Thor and that is the last thing I see.

-Peter pov-

I feel my Spider-Sense going off like crazy. I see the three with the giant man are getting the upper hand. What can we do to beat them? There is nothing I know of to beat these people all on our own.

"Over here Bubs" We all look back as The X-Men approach us "We came with some help"

"This is our world too" I smile as our biggest Villains are coming to our aide "We will not stay good, but for one day we can make an exception"

"Agreed" I stand up and stagger over to Rhino with my hand out "Tag?"

"Tag" He taps my hand and steps past me "LETS GO!"

They charge forward and we start fighting side by side. It is helpful but not enough. We are on top for the most part but not fully. Soon enough, we are getting beaten again as the shadow gets closer.

"CHARGE!"

I am on the ground panting as people run past us. Guns, Swords, Pans, and just everyday items in hand. These are normal people coming to assist in beating them. I look over and see TaskMaster stagger to her feet.

A hand is reached out toward me and I take it. We stand watching as these people risk their lives to save the world. I know the people standing still are preventing it but the weapons are being thrown to attack. Normal people came to defeat beings sent by a world eater.

I look as everyone gets up from where they lay. Some of our friends are gone and are not coming back. But that just means we fight more for who we have left. We give it all or we lose it all.

"EVERYONE!" I stagger forward with Sam and Bucky "ASSEMBLE!" 

We all rush past the people and fight the 3 beings. We finally get the upper hand as we take them down. We will not lose this world and we will not go down without fighting! We are going to beat them and then the space giant!

Everything is going great until lightning strikes down. We all go flying as Thor lands with Black hair. I narrow my eyes as I stand back up beside Bucky. We share a quick look before looking back at him.

"I am Black Winter and I am here to end all of this" An axe is soon taken through all three heads and we stand in shock "Stand down and wait for my judgement"

Thor takes off into the sky and we all watch in shock. I soon though have a suit growing over me and I turn behind me. I see Ned give a nod and I know what I need to do. I web Thor's foot and go into the air with him.

"Foolish mortal!" I dodge the axe as we fight in air "I will kill you first then!"

"I will die for this planet!" I take a punch and trade one back "All of us would!"

"All of us will!" A shield hits Thor and I am soon caught by Sam "Space Suit upgrade thanks to Pepper"

"Silver Surfer" I step onto the board that grows around my feet "Nice to meet you Man Spider"

"Likewise" We stand facing Thor who is glaring at us "What do we do?"

"ENOUGH!" We all turn toward a giant alien "I AM GALACTUS! I WILL DEVOUR THIS PLANET AND CONTINUE MY CONQUEST!"

"My first mission" Thor charges at Galactus "I AM THOR! I HERALD TO NO WINTER NOR MAN! I AM ODINS SON! BROTHER OF LOKI! AVENGER! GUARDIAN OF GALAXIES! I AM ONE OF THE LAST OF ASGARD! YOU WILL NOT KILL ME! YOU WILL NOT TAKE MY HOME!"

We watch as a huge electric blast hits Galactus. They move further away and we are slow to follow. We stop as Galactus is slowly turning thinner and thinner. Thor soon crashes onto the moon and we go to him.

Either we get Thor or this is going to be a longer fight.
