Part 2  -  Dry eyes

Oceans in concrete
Rivers in stone
Lakes in brick
Left to mourn over rock and
regret
Fear in stillness,
blissful emptiness,
fulfilling silence,
contended end.
The stench of life
Tear drops wallowing in crevices of nose
Pooling in marred skin
Ducts empty
Craters flat
Filled valleys of lips
Queens divorced
and Kings dethroned
Assassinated by a weeping cumulus
The aftermath of a war of
One hundred moments
Fleeting and fickle
Feint left through fingers falling
The deafening silence of a million lost souls
Victoriously defeated
Fallen soldiers
with daggers turned to Gods
who peer upon unworthy children
Grace fallen from the sky
Sky, cry no more
Fly back
Little miracles
To where the sun hides in shame
Over a land of unforgiven
