"What's your purpose then? Control my body?" I asked and she just stares at me before looking down to her feet then back up at me.
"N̺̻̔̆ͅo̯̱̊͊͢, I̍̅̀̎̊ ḑ̴̞͛̒o̯̱̊͊͢ṇ̤͛̒̍'t̲̂̓ͩ̑." (No, I don't) She tells me before waving her hand as the darkness disappears revealing my room in Forks.
"You are different. A lot more different." Her voice was lighter now than before.
"What do you mean by different?"
"I can't say. You'll have to find that out yourself." She looks around before turning back to me.
"You'll be awake soon. We'll talk more." I opened my mouth to say something before closing my eyes again. I slowly opened them to see that I was in a room. I sat up and looked around when I heard the door open as Jasper walks in.
"You alright love?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. How long was I out?"
"Throughout the drive in phoenix, I might say few hours." He shuts the door behind him and sat next to me.
"We're in phoenix already?"
"Yeah."
"Wow, what about Bella and Edward?"
Next door. They're also here with us." He says and I sighed nodding my head.
"You want anything to eat?"
"Yeah, I'm starving." I smiled and he nodded.
"Anything specific?"
"Hmmm...McDonald's does sound good right now."
"Chicken Deluxe none spicy, Large fries, and Cola?"
"Yesss, how did you know that?"
"I'm your soulmate, I know things. Might have also asked your sister." He grins and I laughed shaking my head. He kisses me on the cheek telling me he'll be right back and left the room. I smiled thinking of how lucky I was as I sat up and reached over to open the blinds when a knock came to my door. I looked over the bed seeing the key to our room as I grabbed it and walked towards the door.
"Jasper, here's you ke-" I opened the door smiling holding the key expecting for Jasper, but there was no one there. I walked out of the room looking around. As I was about to go back inside, I noticed a red envelope on the floor. Walking over to it, I picked up the envelope and opened it reading the note.
If you want your mother alive, go to your sister's old ballet building. If not, she won't be seeing the next day. Go alone or she dies- J
My eyes widen and dropped the letter. My blood began to boil as I stormed off to the location. Arriving to Bella's old ballet studio I walked inside the building. Darkness covers the hall with minimum light that shines through by the moon. Walking inside I cautiously look around when I heard Renee's voice echoing through the halls.
"Nessa?!"
"Mom!" I shouted as I followed her voice.
"Nessa, where are you?!"
"Mom! I'm here! Where are you?!" I shouted as I ran into an open area and hear her voice at the other side of the room. Panic sets in me as I look for my mother.
"Nessa! Come here!" I ran towards her voice leading to two doors and pulled them open seeing a tv and a player on the top.
"There you are! What are you doing hiding there huh?" I watch as the young me squeal and giggle. I turn around and there stood James with a grin on his face.
"You are such an idiot." He chuckles before grabbing my shirt and throwing me across the room. My back landed on the dusty ground as I groans and coughed.
"You know, I didn't think you'd fall for that. Your sister would probably have, but you. I thought you'd be smarter."
"Where the hell is my mother?"
"At home with your step-father. Don't worry, I'll be sure to send them a post card of your dead body." He grins as he grabs me by the throat. I gasped and grabbed his arm. He opens his mouth and brought me closer to him as I groaned as tried to back away.
He soon got tossed back as I was dropped to the floor and looked up to see Jasper.
"Jasper."
"Run Nessa!" He shouted as James went after me, but Jasper grabbed him and punches him square in the face. I got up as I coughed and wheeze for air before running towards the door. I could hear their fighting behind, as I went to go to the double doors, I tossed backwards.
"You aren't leaving just yet." He growls as he stalks up to me and Jasper runs up to him, grabbing him and throwing him away before helping me off the ground.
"Come on-" He was cut off when James threw both of us away from each other. My back landing on a wall then on a pile of wood on the floor.
I coughed and gasped as I get off the wood. I went to stand up before falling to the floor groaning when my ankle got caught in between the wood. I pushed the wood off seeing a nail pierced into my ankle. I didn't bother pulling the nail out knowing that if I do, I'll loose blood. I got up and tried to limp to the door, but my wound caught both Jasper's and James' attention as they turn to me. Jasper getting distracted as James tossed him before running towards me and threw me to the floor causing the nail to dig in deeper making me scream in pain. James steps on my stomach keeping me down as I hit him as hard as I could.
"Jasper, Jasper, Jasper. You aren't that strong. Those animal blood you've been feeding off of, won't give you half of the strength as I have. Why not join me? Show you what real power is by draining her."
"Get away from her." He growls glaring at him. James looked at him confused before looking down at me and grinning.
"Ahhh, so she's your mate. How cute. Let me do you a huge favor then. Turn her." He grins as he crouches down next to me.
"Get away from her James!" He shouted and James looks at him before grinning as Jasper jumps towards him, but he was already too late. I reached my hand towards Jasper as James bit my left wrist making me scream from his bite.
Jasper tackles him away as I held my wrist and grunted in pain. The burning sensation from my wrist traveling fast through my veins and into my body as I gasped and panted. My visions were starting to blur as Carlisle ran to my side and brought my head up.
His voices were faint as he was looking at me then down to my arm before shouting behind him. Jasper came and kneeled next to him as I whimpered in pain and gasped.
I couldn't hear anything, it was so distant. The memories of my family play in my head as my breathing weakens and I close my eyes, but Jasper's voice made me open them.
"Don't close your eyes darling, you'll be okay. Look at me. I'll save you." He assures me and I nodded my head slowly. He grabs my wrist that James bit and looks at Carlisle who nodded his head towards him. Jasper bit my wrist as I gasped a bit, but it wasn't as painful as James. It was...a lot more soothing. My eyes began to close as darkness took me once more.
