A Past Of Pain

At the Ghost Pups' base in the desert, Kane and Seth are talking. Kane has assigned Seth to watch of Matt, Kala, Lunar, Ruuza, Mutt and now Takaya.

"You better get going Seth. It's early, and Micaiha will get you there."

"No worries, I'll be there. It's not that hard to watch a little group."

Seth says, confident in himself.

"Don't take this lightly!"

Kane scolds. He still isn't 100% sure that letting Seth do this on his own is a good idea, but it's too late to back out now.

"Come on, I'm a pro."

Seth says with a self-confident smirk.

'That's what worries me.'

Kane thinks, before saying sternly,

"And don't tell Kaitou about it."

"Why can't the brat know?"

Seth asks, slightly confused.

"Because I said so. It wouldn't surprise me if he ignored the rules again and went out on his own."

Kane snaps. Seth looks up at the older wolf before saying,

"You think the brat would actually sneak in and know about this?"

"He did do such things... a couple times before. And he's fooled us a lot already."

Kane says. Not too far away, up a tree, Kaitou is indeed listening to Seths' latest mission. He tilts his head before thinking,

'Just great. They seem to have a lot of faith in me.'

Many miles away, in a beautiful forest, Cober walks. He stops before thinking, with a rather evil grin,

'Finally, I'm here.'

He then calls out,

"Tachira come here! Your master is calling."

A lynx then appears in a puff of smoke, and then speaks into his mind,

"'I'm here.'"

"We have a mission to complete."

Cober tells her. Tachira is Cobers' Summoned Spirit. A Summoned Spirit is a constant companion, and, usually, has some markings or colouring to match their Master. Tachira doesn't, which is really unusual.

"'Sounds great. I'm ready when you are."'

Hearing the sound of pawsteps, Cober and Tachira peak over a bunch of bushes, and then see a heavily pregnant female Plant wolf appear between two massive rocks, heading towards a berry bush, full of red berries.

'Here it is!'

She thinks, before taking a berry into her mouth, chewing and swallowing.

'Mm, this is good.'

Cober, with a rather evil grin thinks,

'Perfect. That could make everything a whole lot better.'

Then, he turns to Tachira and says,

"Let's prepare ourselves. And you, go get me my weapons."

'"Sure. Hehehe. This'll be fun."'

Tachira replies, a grin similar to her Masters' on her face.

'This is so good.'

The female thinks, completely unaware of the threat.

Up on top of the two massive rocks, a pair of Fire wolves sit guard. One of them twitches an ear before spying something not too far away.
