The Meeting

A few months after Krypton, Mira, Terro, Flora, Kala, Matt, Lunar, Kaitou and Ruuza met with the Followers of Kumiko, it was time for the Meeting.

Terro, Krypton and Lunar stand at the edge of the territory saying goodbye to their family, and waiting for Sonoke, who would be accompanying them.

"Mum, Dad, I'll be fine. Kaitou will know exactly where we are at all times, and if we need help, he'll know instantly. Kane will be here soon to be here, so if something does go wrong, the Followers of Kumiko will be on hand to help."

Lunar reassures his parents, who are rather nervous about this. They very much do not like the idea of their oldest son going to this meeting without them.

However, he does make some really good points. Micaiha is going to be dropping Kane and Sonoke off shortly. Kane is going to be staying with the pack until Sonoke, Krypton, Terro and Lunar arrive back safely.

And since Kaitou and Lunar have their special bond, they will know exactly where they are and if they need help.

"Alright Lunar. We still don't like this, but we will agree to it. Please, be safe."

Kala says, nuzzling her oldest. Lunar promises he'll be safe, nuzzling his mother in return. He then hugs his father and baby sister. He then turns to Kaitou, who is looking just as, if not more, worried than their parents are.

"Kaitou, we'll be fine. Majority of the leaders who will be present at this meeting are on our side, and Grandfather and Gramps will be there. Besides, if something goes horribly wrong, you'll know in an instant."

Lunar reassures his younger brother, nuzzling him gently. Kaitou nuzzles his older brother back, still worried about this.

Kane, Sonoke and Micaiha appear and, after some pleasantries and more goodbyes, Krypton, Terro, Lunar and Sonoke set off for the Meeting.

Upon arriving at the Meeting place, they see that almost every single pack and Clan leader is already there.

They wander around, Sonoke sticking close to Lunar, who introduces her to the other leaders. They all welcome her warmly, especially the other Water wolves.

Then, a dark shadow appears at the edge of the clearing. Lunar immediately goes to his grandfathers' sides, hackles raised. The shadow condenses into the Boss, Acilla appearing beside him.

Lunar looks behind them and sees Rose. He has to restrain himself not to growl and attack her right there and then for what she did.

Then Reika appears just behind Acilla, a bored expression on her face. The other leaders scowl slightly at the sight of the quartet before the meeting commences.

Sonoke tells the leaders about what her pack members have gone through, what she went through before Kane found her, and what several of the other Followers of Kumiko are still going through.

Lunar then tells his side of the story, about seeing what the Shadow Clans and Heroe Clans were doing to those pups in the slave camps through the eyes of his younger brother.

He struggles to not tear up while doing so, and Krypton offers comfort and support to his oldest grandson. Sonoke nuzzles his other side, comforting her unofficial packmate.

Terros' own eyes tear up at the story, even though he's already heard it. By the time Lunar is done talking, everyone except the Boss, Acilla, Rose and Reika are crying.

Krypton then steps forward after nudging his grandson over to his friend for comfort. Sonoke gives him a small smile, happy that he's taking such good care of his grandchild.
