Bella's pov

The next week I was on my period and joão came over.

He had a little cotton thread like white basket with stuff inside.

I was still in bed in my pajamas while watching the purge on my tv.

"Bells, it's 1 in the afternoon. You need to get out of bed and do something." He told me as he walked over to me with the basket.

"Yeah, yeah.. what's this?" I asked before he handed it to me.

The basket has 3 different kinds of pads, nerds gummy clusters, watermelon sour patches, Swedish fish, cool ranch Doritos, Tylenol and Ibuprofen, a Colleen Hoover book I've never read, a nice stress relief from bath and body works candle, a warm Starbucks cup in his right hand.

"João... you even got me a Colleen Hoover book.." my lip quivered.

"Yeah, they are quite easy to find at target." He handed me my drink and I read the label. It was a pumpkin spice latte.

"How did you know these are my favorite?" I took a sip and my heart immediately warmed.

"It's every girl's favorite.." he shrugged and I tried to hide my smile from him.

"Make some room, im getting in here to." He said before climbing into the right side of my bed.

"What the gory shit is this?" He looked at the tv as the couple was shot.

I paused the tv and laughed. "I was gonna have a purge marathon because I had cramps.."

"We're gonna watch it together then." He unpaused the tv.

I took another sip of my drink and cuddled up to him.

I opened the candy and the chips. "Where's floki? I really miss my cuddle buddy.."

"He's at home... his stomach hasn't been feeling to well so I didn't wanna burden you with shit all over your house." He told me and I nodded as I offered him a watermelon sour patch.

He accepted and chewed it with his perfect white teeth which was satisfying to me for some reason.

"Take a nap baby... I'm not going anywhere." He rubbed my back right where my back pain was.

"I miss floki.." I started crying for no reason at all. I was just so emotional on my period.

"Flokis at home chilling... he's okay bells.." he rubbed my side and I cried harder.

He opened his phone to his ring app and he showed me floki sprawled out on his dog bed sleeping.

"He's so cute.." my lip quivered as I watched floki breathe in and out.

"Yeah, the damn dog has been shitting everywhere. His diaper fell off." He pointed in the corner of the screen at the diaper on the ground.

I laughed softly and let joão wipe my tear from my check.

"Your pretty when you cry, you know that?" He kissed my check.

"Pretty sure you've told me that before.." I laughed again.

"Well it's all I think when I see you cry.. your so beautiful Bella." He hugged me and I hugged him back with my head on his chest.

"You know how to make me feel better..." I smiled down at all the junk and everything joão got me.

"You make me happy. It's the least I could do in return." He lifted me onto him so I was laying on him.

"I love you..." I whispered as I hugged him again as we now sat up on the headboard.
