Unexpected Match || João félix

Chapter 8

Bella's pov

On august 10 the team was flying into Bilbao Spain for a match in two days a little later.

I wasn't gonna go this time but joão was letting me babysit floki which I was so excited for.

I heard the doorbell ring and shot up and tan to the door to answer it.

João was standing here there with floki in his arms, his dog bed and a backpack on.

I moved out of the way and he put him down and came in then i shut the door behind him.

"The dog really needs an entire backpack?" I asked in disbelief as he put the backpack on my dining table.

"Yes especially floki. He's a spoiled piece of work. Now cmon I'm gonna go through the bag with you." He said as he opened the big zipper.

"A blanket, a backup, 3 toys for the park and 3 house toys, his stuffed animal his name is Miguel, Then we have medicine if his stomach acts weird, and treats. All different for different things. You give him the small one after walks, the medium one is for when he's a good boy. Only 1 medium a day, and for the big one is for the end of fetch. Again only 1 big one a day. And his iPad, it only has movie apps so if he gets bored he watches something." João said and I nodded along.

"An iPad? Your an overprotective dad... admit it." I looked at everything on the table that he pulled out.

"We're not done.... If he gets dirty here is his shampoo" he put the plastic bag down that had the bottle inside.

"Okay..." I nodded.

"Here's his food. 2 meals a day for dog food, he can handle chicken and that kind stuff." He explained as he held up the dog food in the container and his dog bowls.

"Does he have a schedule? Or is he on vacation right now?" I asked.

"He's on vacation..." he rolled his eyes and I laughed as Floki ran around my living area.

"He's adorable... we're gonna have a blast!" I cheered and he laughed.

"Oh and Bella, do not overfeed my dog. He gets bloated easily and if you see he's bloated with food left take his food away until it goes down." He said and I quivered my lip at his words.

"You take his food away from him? Poor floki... you shouldn't take his food away if he's hungry.."

"If he's bloated he will whine to you all day and night I'm saving you trust me. And if he's bloated he has enough food stored. He's fine." He rubbed my back.

Floki ran to us and I picked him up before he barked at joão.

"Well you better get going so you don't miss your flight." I petted flokis back and joão nodded.

We went over to the door and he got his shoes on.

"Bye daddy!" I mocked what floki would be saying as I moved flokis paw in a waving movement.

João chuckled and kissed flokis forehead. "Bye buddy. Be a good boy, If your not Bella will not hesitate to call me." He said before looking up at me with his beautiful brown eyes.

"Bye darling... make sure my dog behaves." He said before kissing my cheek and smiling one more time at us and walking out.

"Safe travels." I blurted out before the dog shut behind him.

Me and joão went to the window to watch joão pull out and floki barked as we seen joão put his seatbelt on from the windshield.

João looked up and seen us before smiling brightly and waving. He finally pulled his black Mercedes S-class out of the driveway and his car disappeared from our sight.
