Killing Machines (Part. 10)

Sam ran further through the halls, looking around for the girls. He ran to the door, Roberto was hitting the door while using his abilities

"Hey, Berto! Berto!" Sam yelled, Roberto turned to look at Sam "Bitch put force fields over all the exits" Roberto said moving away from the door

"is she trying to kill us?" Sam asked "Don't know. did she make those smiley things?" Roberto asked "No they're illyanas" Sam explained

"right...Snakes are (Names) I'm guessing?" Roberto asked Sam, "what? where?" Sam asked worried "I saw a couple around the place" Roberto said "shit" Sam muttered

"Have you seen the girls? any of em'?" Sam asked "no....I'm surprised (Name) isn't with you" Roberto said "all right upstairs" Sam said, not minding Robertos added comment as they ran towards the staircase

They stopped upon seeing a bunch of the 'men' walking down it, screeching. Sam began to focus again as a portal opened, illyana jumped through holding her sword as she began to swing it around at the 'men'

With her free hand illyana had ahold of (Names) arm, (Name) used her free arm to stone some of the 'men' as illyana chopped up other ones

they both moved around each other as if it had been choreographed and practiced for months on end. One all the 'men' had been killed, the two girls stood on the stairs panting

"where the bloody hell did you pair go!?" Sam asked "I....I don't actually know" (Name) said still panting as she tried to catch her breath again. "our special place" illyana simply said, her eyes no longer glowing as she still held her sword

Roberto peaked out from behind Sam "that was so hot" He said, Sam looked towards him slowly as Roberto looked up at Sam

"Wasn't talking about your chick" Roberto quickly said defending himself as Sam could help but shake his head with a small smile

The four of them all walked to Dr Reyes office, in hopes to find her only to see Rahne and Dani there. "What the hells going on? wheres Dr Reyes?" Roberto asked

"She tried to kill Dani" Rahne explained as she began to pace "what?" Sam asked "that test? it wasn't a test....she tried to kill her" Rahne said

"not surprised...." (Name) nodded as illyana stood by a cabinet "My file" illyana said, opening it and reading the notes out loud. Everyone remained silent as her file concluded she had killing potential

illyana shoved the file in Robertos hands as she sat down on a couch, holding her puppet gently. Roberto looked at illyana before opening the file, as everyone looked over his shoulder to read it too

"look....345" (Name) pointed at a number with a # next to it. "So what we're numbered now?" Sam said "the graves outside all have numbers....." (Name) said

everyone looked at her, "you don't think..?" Rahne asked "so what they couldn't even put a name?" Roberto said, disgusted before looking back at the file

"Essex corporation" Roberto read in a 'of course' tone "that must have been the place I saw" Dani muttered "she wasn't prepping us to be X-men....she was prepping us to be killers" Rahne said sadly

Dani sat up "we don't have much time....Reyes wants me dead and it won't be long before she comes back to finish the job" Dani explained, getting out of her seat

"how? this place is designed to keep us inside....all our powers it won't work its hopeless" Roberto shrugged "no it isn't.....we got each other out of her cages....we can get out of this" Dani nodded at everyone

"thats all well and good....but shes still got forcefields around the building....windows...everything" Sam said softly, walking to stand beside (Name)

"how you gonna get past that?" Sam asked Dani, "by taking out the source" Dani nodded "then lets kill the bitch" illyana said with shrug

Everyone walked down the hall, following a trial of blood. Just the Dr Reyes spoke over the speakers "tonight we're going to talk about responsibilities.....you have a responsibility to your treatment....I wan all of you to go to your rooms right now"

Everyone continued to walk on, turning into the medical wing. "if you try to leave....or disobey...I have a responsibility to stop you...no matter what it takes"

"how do you know shes still in here?" Dani asked Rahne "I can smell her" Rahne answered, "whats going on? Essex corp?" Sam demanded to know as Dr Reyes got up

"its a scientific organization founded by my superiors" She explained, holding her side "founded to do what? screw with our heads?" Sam scoffed

"to save you!" She yelled at them all, "if it wasn't for me! you all would have been dead a long time ago!" She yelled again, trapping everyone in forcefields

(Names) hands got trapped outside the field, everyone began to panic, Roberto hit the forcefield to no avail. Sams arm (which was in the cast) was also caught in the forcefield

"alright everyone calm down! ok...? I'll let you all go.....expect Dani....Dani needs to be put down" Dr Reyes said as Rahne screamed 'no'

"let us out!" illyana yelled "its for her own good and yours.....I've sure you've figured it out by now....she takes your greatest fear....darkest secret and makes you live through it...over...and over...and over and over....until it kills you" Dr Reyes said

Dr Reyes began to cause the force fields to become smaller. (Name) had sat down, trying her best to keep her arms straight. Sam kicked against the forcefield as Roberto hit against his

the oxygen began to tighten in the forcefields, everyone fell against the ground struggling for air. (Name) turned her head to look at Sam as he looked at her

His free hand tried to reach for her as they both began to suffocate. Suddenly the ground began to shake, Dr Reyes looked towards the window scared

She looked back at Dani, before she could say anything a large bear had crashed through the wall, eating Dr Reyes causing the force fields to break and everyone to pant for air

Rahne got up to grab Dani, (Name) sat up as she crawled over to Sam who sat up. He lent his head on her chest as he caught his breath.

"guys! she won't wake up!" Rahne worried as she shook Dani, Everyone went up to Rahne and Dani as Sam looked towards the window

"guys! its comin' back!" He called gaining everyone's attention, The bear growled trying to get into the room as everyone ran into the hall (Rahne pulling Dani along)

"Its hunting us" Roberto said "no...its hunting Dani" Rahne said "why Dani?" Sam asked "because that's what she fears" Rahne answered

The building continued to shake as the bear continued to try and get into the facility. "come on help me" Rahne said to Sam, Sam nodded helping Rahne pick Dani up.
