Third Person's POV
A week went by in a flash. Everyone was getting ready for the Acquaintance Party that will be held next week.
A lot of students were practicing, and mostly everyone was not having classes, but profs gave individual assignments and workload for students.
Alaiah was busy preparing for the booth of their club. She was a member of the student government, which took up a huge role in the event.
She was busy designing when she received a text.
Baby <3
Hey! Lunch?
Reply: Finally! Okay, coming!
She hurriedly told Saige that she was off to have lunch since Saige was already done eating.
She marched to the cafeteria, and then her smiled faded as she spotted her boyfriend, with that girl - again.
"Hey, Jer. I thought lunch tayo dalawa?" she kissed him in the cheeks and sat across him since the girl was sitting beside him.
"Gutom kasi kami after practice kaya magkasama kami. Nga pala, I didn't formally introduce you to her. This is Denise, our new vocalist." Jeremy smiled to the both of them.
"Alaiah." she said shortly, Denise smiled and clinged her arms into him.
"Do you mind?" Alaiah firmly said, referring to Denise' hand on her boyfriend.
"I'm sorry, I'm just used to it." Denise laughed.
"What's wrong, babe? Are you on your period today?" Jeremy innocently asked. "By the way, libre mo ngayon diba? I left my wallet at home kasi. I'm so hungry."
"Jer, alam mo naman tight allowance ko ngayon. Nag-iipon din ako diba? You know that." Alaiah sighed.
"Damot naman. I won't eat na. Kahit magutom pa ako sa practice."
"Stop that, Jer. Here, it's the only money I have. Aalis na ako, I'll eat later. Ihatid mo ko mamaya, Jer." Alaiah gave him the money and walked out.
She was pissed and hungry. She was already looking forward to having lunch with his boyfriend, but to her dismay, it was ruined because of that girl again.
"Ayaaaa! Come here! May nag-deliver ng food for our club! Lunch food, and it's already paid. Kain tayo!" Saige shouted when she saw Alaiah headed to their booth.
"What do you mean for us? Baka iba? Teka sure ka ba?" Alaiah asked and looked at her other members already eating.
"Here, may note with your name." Saige handed her a small piece of paper with her name.
Alaiah
Hey! Sorry gift ko pala 'to because of what happened sa beach house mo. Sorry sa mga sinabi ko, my conscience can't take it. Eat up, I hope it will be enough for everyone on your team. Keep working hard. You deserve it! Go, Miss President!
-pogi mong classmate !
"Hmmm! May manliligaw ka na? Kay Lim ba yan?" Saige peeked when Aya was reading.
"Kay Lim nga pero hindi manliligaw noh. Nag sorry lang." Aya was trying to hide her smile.
"Plus points parin sa effort ng sorry, jowa mo nga kahit simpleng sorry di masabi." Saige said and ran towards the people piling up on the food.
Aya smiled and got the food that was given by Matt. She was relieved, and she was able to eat on time.
On the other side, Matt was practising with her bandmates.
