Matthias' POV

It's been 2 days since we came back from Manila.

I didn't see Aya for those 2 days, but I call her kapag wala siyang ginagawa.

I felt different today kasi she did not text me since the morning. It's 1pm kaya I was worried.

I tried messaging her, and she did not respond.

Umuulan ng malakas, but I could not stop myself from overthinking.

I decided to call Saige.

"Hi, Saige! Sorry for bothering you. Nakausap mo ba si Aya today?" I asked as soon as she answered.

"Hey, Matt. Hindi ko nakausap, eh. Baka busy lang, antay mo nalang."

"Thank you, Saige. Take care kayo."

After the call, I decided to clean up.

Natapos ako maglinis, it was 6pm. It was still raining strong kaya I was worried.

I decided to go out at puntahan si Aya.

Am I clingy? Super clingy, I guess.

Nag-drive agad ako papunta kay Aya. The rain was slowing down, so it was not that hard to drive.

When I arrived, I noticed a car was parked in front of their house. Baka kapamilya nila.

As I approached the gate, I heard someone quarreling.

"Aya, please. Just this once. Let's make it work." someone said that someone was quite familiar to me as I approached the gate to listen more.

"I don't know. Hindi ko alam anong gagawin ko, Jer."

Napahinto ako ng marinig ko ang boses ni Aya.

Jer? Jeremy? Bakit siya nandito?

"Don't worry about anything. Walang gagalaw satin. Nobody can. Please, come back." Jeremy pleaded again.

I was stunned. Di na ako makasalita. I hate this. I hate feeling like this.

"Ano? Gulat ka? What does this mean, Aya?" I asked.

She looked down. Hindi siya makasagot.

Please just tell me mali ang iniisip ko.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito? Mangsisira ka naman ba para ikaw ang piliin?" sumbat ni Jeremy.

Hindi ko siya pinansin at nanatiling nakatitig lang kay Aya.

"Aya, let's talk. Please." I pleaded.

I felt my tears well up when she looked up already crying.

"Bukas na tayo mag-usap, please." she said.

"Just tell me it's not what I think it is."

"Tomorrow lang please."

"Kung di mo yan masagot ngayon, huwag na din bukas. Hindi pa nagsimula pero dito lang ata to, Aya. I never should have tried." I said and turned my back.

Lumabas ako and I heard her call me pero I did not care. Bahala na, kung saan siya sasaya.

I immediately went home. I opened a bottle of beer and uminom agad.
