Alaiah's POV

"Hi! Almost done sa decorations. Daming energy ng group because of the food and coffee that Matt sent. Saan kayo galing?" bungad ni Saige when I approached them decorating the stage.

"Good morning, Sai. Always accepting food from her, ah? Baka kayo magkatuluyan." I teased.

"Selos ka naman." sabi niya and ran off towards our other members.

I got my phone from my pocket when I heard it beep.

Matthias Lim

Watch us later, ah? Good luck sa event, Miss Pres!

Reply: Good luck, Matthias!

"May iba ka na palang nginingitian, Aya?" Jeremy suddenly appeared in front of me.

I took a step back as I saw the rage in his eyes.

"I was just texting my friend, Jer. Hindi ka na ba busy?" I asked back.

"Aalis na ako. Look good later. Change, okay?" he said and gave me a kiss on my cheeks, then left.

I started helping prepare the stage when Jeremy left. After a few minutes, natapos din kami and noticed students slowly flocking in.

Opening ceremony ngayon and the band competition will happen today.

I was busy preparing the things to give out for our judges when someone tapped my shoulder.

I looked back and I saw that red-haired girl smiling ear to ear.

"Hi!" she was full of energy. "How are you? I bought coffee for you. To energize, you know."

"Hey! Thank you dito. Badly need this right now." I said at tinanggap ang cup na dala niya. "How did you know I love cappuccino?"

"Well, that's a secret I won't tell." she smiled.

"You look good, ah! Rocking the red. Bagay." I complimented.

"Sana tayo din." she whispered, but I did not hear it entirely.

"What?" I asked.

She sipped from her cup of coffee. "Nothing. I'll head in the back na. The show is about to start." she said and gave me a pat on my head.

"She looks good, right?" Saige said as we watched Matt walk away.

"Do you like her? Akala ko ba si Chris lang?" I asked.

"Chris lang naman pero di ko naman maikaila na pogi yon. Pero di kami talo non." she said.

We walked back towards the stage, and people were flooding in. As the dean arrived, the program started.

It was going smoothly, a lot of people were enjoying it and it looked like another successful event for us.

"And now, the event everyone has been waiting for! The battle of the bands!" the host announced.

A loud cheer erupted in the auditorium. A lot were bringing banners for their respective favorite group. A lot were mostly Jeremy's band.

The show started and it was sequenced that Jeremy's band would play second to the last, leaving Matt's band last to perform.

A total of 8 band will be performing, currently its on band number 6 and it is evident that the audience were waiting for the last 2 band.

"Ang dry ng crowd. Hindi pa kasi nagpa-play ang mga pogi." Saige commented.

I glared at her, signaling her to stop making side comments baka may makarinig pa samin.

"Let us all welcome, JATOA!" the host announced and Jeremy emerged on the stage.
