She said look baby I'm a rock star....

I wake up to the sound of Brantley singing through the baby monitor. Peeking around the corner of the nursery door I see Brantley rocking with Jax on his shoulder.

I snap a picture and send it to mama Becky. She's always asking for more pictures. I need to remember to ask if she can keep Jax this weekend. Poor B has been so neglected since we've brought the baby home. And lets be honest I need my man.

The camera clicking made B open is eyes and look around. Seeing me in the door way he lays Jax in his crib and gives me a kiss on the side of the head. Go back to bed Little Bit, I got this, you were up with him all night.

Not being one to argue I went back to our room, but I couldn't get back to sleep so I ran myself a nice warm bubble bath. B walked in about 10 minutes later, sat the monitor on the counter, and climbed in the tub with me.

The warm water was relaxing but B insisted on rubbing my neck and shoulders for me and I wasn't about to complain. Don't get to use this I tell him resting my head on his shoulder. Jax will probably wake up in about 30 minutes to eat again.

Well he says standing up with me in his arms; guess that gives me 20 minutes to love on my wife before my son steals her attention again.

When he lays me down on the bed I check my phone. Do you really need to do that right now he growls in my ear.

Yes I do if you want you mom to keep Jax this weekend. I tell him slapping him on the chest.

Unfortunately we didn't get more than a few kisses before Jax woke up. Looks like I have to wait till this weekend. B grumbled pulling on a pair of shorts and heading to the nursery to bring me our little man.
