Chapter Fifty-Two

A/N: If it's been forgotten, italics is second time/Hargreeves from the sixties. Normal is first timeline/Hargreeves from 2019. 'Niklaus' is first timeline Klaus M. and 'Nik' is second timeline Klaus M.

'I never thought I would get to this day' Nagini thought as she sat in front of a mirror as Dahlia did her hair.

Nagini slightly smiled at the screen as she realized what day it was about to show. She also saw her husband wearing a small smile.

Tom and Nagini were getting married rather quickly; it had only been about five months. It was more of Nagini learning what Tom Riddle (or Slytherin-Gaunt) was really like and him learning more about Nagini as a human. They got along great, which is a given with the unblocked soulmate bond, and they were now getting married.

"Still a bit quick though," Lily comments.

"Because you didn't feel the soulmate bond," James immediately said making Lily look at him with wide eyes.

"He always looked so heartbroken when you insulted him and turned him down," Sirius said, "We had to keep checking if you were his soulmate but he was so sure that he showed us his blood test results."

Lily looked surprised again, and then looked around at the other couples. While the Mikaelsons had been sitting with young versions of their soulmates, they still sat close, but the Mikaelsons kept their hands to themselves. Luna had been watching from Abraxas' arms, Dahlia was leaning against Orion who had his arm around her shoulders, Klaus and Nico weren't a couple but she assumed they would eventually be one as they were slouched against each other. Her younger self and James were holding hands. Lily kept looking at each one that she knew were soulmates like Eileen and Charlie, and even Fern and Jasper, and noticed they were sitting naturally, like they were meant to be there. She sat back and turned back to the screen, she was a bit worried about what would happen when hers and James' second timeline selves met if what she thought was wrong.

Dahlia had finished Nagini's hair by giving it curls that fell down her back. Luna had come over to do Nagini's makeup while Dahlia went to help Dorea with Nagini's dress. They turned her around so she couldn't see.

Nagini's dress was black and somewhat formfitting, Dorea had argued it would work with her figure better and Luna had a knowing look on her face as Dahlia went to work explaining things to Persephone who wanted to make the dress again and even had Aphrodite throwing in her opinions. The result was a black, somewhat form fitting dress, with no back, and lace sleeves.

Luna had finished Nagini's makeup and the girls helped her into the dress. When Nagini turned around, she was shocked that was her.

Some of the women smiled softly at the screen at how shocked Nagini looked. She had been a snake for so long, that things like this were unusual to her.

Luna had done dark red lips with a little bit of eyeliner. It was simple but really worked well. Nagini stared at the mirror and Luna had startled her a little when she said, "Don't you dare cry, I don't want to do it again," causing a laugh to come from Nagini. They accompanied her to the doors to Dahlia's garden and left to take their seats. Nagini had been surprised that they let her get married in Dahlia's garden like they did with the other weddings. Dahlia had told her, "You may have been a bad guy in the past, but you are family now, Family has been getting married in this garden, I want you married out here Tom too also. Since you didn't get to be there for the other three, we get to be there for yours."

Nagini stepped out and noticed Tom's surprised face as everyone turned to her and she saw a lot of Dahlia's more lively plants turn to her too.

"How?" Vanya asked.

"The Longbottoms are known for their plants. Frank's father wanted to give me some plants as thanks for helping the Gryffindors see the truth of Dumbledore," Dahlia said with a shrug.

Nagini saw black dogs gather up the sides, wanting to watch the wedding but keeping their distance, same with some thestrals who were also grazing nearby.

The Blacks and Sirius smiled seeing the pack of Black Dogs.

When the wedding was over, Nagini and Tom went to Ireland for the honeymoon.

The scene changed to Malfoy Manor. Abraxas and Luna watched Lucius as he became fussy, signaling the beginning of his second birthday. Luna leaned her head against her husband's shoulder as she knew she was as nervous as she was, but wasn't as good at hiding it. She wanted to be the calm person between the two. Lucius had watched the horrible things he had done in his past life, all because of that goat of a Headmaster. He had watched as he had tortured innocent children and brought his son into a situation he did not want to be in.

Teenage Narcissa heard teenage Lucius suck in a shaky breath and she reached out for his hand and held it. Adult Lucius looked down in shame, having had a clear head and remembered the things he's done.

And then it changed, Dahlia Potter and Luna Lovegood had become Mistresses of Death and Life, Dahlia the companion of Thanatos, and Luna the companion of Gaea. He saw how influenced by potions and spells Dahlia had been and how she truly acted when the newly Peverell sisters had appeared in the new timeline.

He saw how they helped Tom not become Voldemort, he watched the trial of Dumbledore, and how Dahlia became Orion Black's wife and Luna became his father's wife. 'Wait, that means I tortured my own mother?!?!?!?' he thought.

Narcissa felt the grip on her hand tighten. Abraxas felt Luna minutely flinch. Lucius couldn't look at Luna.

He watched significant events leading up to now, even how his dad had freaked out about Nagini. When he woke up, he was crying hysterically. 'Wow and Bellatrix had definitely handled that better', Luna had thought, while her husband had also shared that thought.

Both Bellatrix let out their signature cackles as both Lucius' looked offended.

Dahlia and Orion had filled them in on Bellatrix's, Andromeda's, and the twins reactions. Abraxas could see the twins and how they were worse than Lucius when they remembered. They were living with one of their bullies and remembered the pain of dying and a Magical Twin bond getting severed when one had died before the other one.

Fabian and Gideon shared a look, they also knew once Fred and George remembered that they would have a similar reaction that they did. Rebekah, having learned about the children she and the Prewett twins would eventually take in, had a very similar thought.

Abraxas had walked over to pick up his son who was still recovering from his shock. The toddler was startled when he felt a smaller hand on his back and looked to see his new mom giving him a look of concern. They reassured him that everything in the new memories did happen, that his precious Narcissa is alive and will soon be living with Orion and Dahlia, but they wouldn't tell him why. They didn't want the tantrum to happen. They told him that Orion and Charlus do in fact turn into big flaming skeletons and their wives tend to eat hearts. Abraxas had surprised his son by shapeshifting into a copy of his wife and then of Tom to show his shapeshifter inheritance that Lucius would one day inherit. The toddler reached for his mom and Luna gladly took him and held him as he buried his head into her neck and his parents both knew he wouldn't move. It was a mix of feeling ashamed for what he did to his new mom and him being thankful he did have a mom. His last mother had died in childbirth which had made his dad depressed and he didn't know what to do and was practically raised by his grandfather. This thought was proven when Luna heard a very quiet, "I'm sorry mommy," come from the toddler as Luna had brought him to her room followed by her husband.

Luna turned away to wipe a tear as Abraxas frowned. Lucius still wouldn't look. Lucius had his head on Narcissa's shoulder.
