Chapter 8

San walked onto the filming location with a fruit bowl and handed it to one of the assistants to take to Jin for his snack. Jin was filming for the drama in the 'Attica' once again, as his hand was feeling much better now. Since that day at his house, Jin had instructed Jungkook to keep his distance unless it was for a scheduled assignment. He also refrained from his usual bickering and taunting even when he saw Jungkook again..and San found him often watching Jungkook with a strange expression whenever he thought no one was looking. This shift in behavior had made San suspicious of what had transpired between the two in the walk-in closet. Because one moment they seemed to be strangely getting along because Jungkook was surprisingly patient with Jin's antics , and the next moment, Jin had kicked him out. Despite San's multiple attempts to get Jin to talk about it ..Jin refused to spill the details.

San sighed as he found Jungkook sleeping leaning against a wall outside the bedroom of the suite Jin was assigned to rest in during the shoot.

"Must be nice to get paid to sleep!" San whispered near his ear.

"Damn! Sorry!" Jungkook jolted awake and looked at San with big eyes. "I have no work here sitting around and he won't let me get close to him. He asked me to stay far away... just closed the door in my face." Jungkook explained sitting up and yawning

"You really don't have much work here..Sleep on those couches or something. No one's gonna take him away. Namjoon is just being extra!" San suggested.

"No, I need to stay close to him. It's protocol!" Jungkook insisted, standing up and slumping down on the couch in the room.

San sat down near him, eating a banana that was in his hands "!What did you do?" he asked suddenly

Jungkook looked up, confused. "Hmm?"

"What did you do to get banished? Spill! Nothing is a secret with me. If you need help keeping your job, you better tell me. Jin won't talk to me, which means something serious happened. I need to know for his sake and yours!!" San said firmly.

Jungkook sighed, reluctant but knowing he had to come clean to him " I may have suggested he go to ...therapy!" he admitted , biting on his lips.

San's eyes widened in surprise. "Therapy? What the....What exactly did you say?"

"I just... I noticed he seemed really sad and troubled . I told him it might help to talk to someone, like a therapist. I shared a bit about my brother's experience in high school and how therapy helped him!" Jungkook explained softly, his voice tinged with regret.

San snorted  "And you are still employed here? Wow, Joonie must have scared him with something. Otherwise, knowing Jin, you would be back at your brother's house learning interior design." he teased with a smile

Jungkook nodded. "I didn't mean to overstep. I just wanted to help. But now he won't even look at me and I'm stuck outside his door like a guard dog." He pouted slightly

San sighed and leaned back to the couch "Jin doesn't take well to people prying into his personal life, especially not someone he barely knows. But still, he must have really been affected by what you said to react this strongly..His normal reaction to such situations is making your life even more miserable "He  looked at Jungkook sternly. "You know my motto: zip your mouth and let him be. Don't interfere in his personal matters."

"But you don't stay away from him!" Jungkook pointed out.

San laughed and put an arm on his shoulder "Well, I've been with him for many years. I have my perks... you don't..anyways, I will try to talk to him...and .."

Before San could complete , Jin's door opened and he walked out of the room dressed in a tailored suit that accentuated his tall frame. Jungkook jumped to his feet, instinctively avoiding Jin's gaze. Jin glared at Jungkook briefly before walking to the filming area set up near the infinity pool outside, where the lead actress Yeji was already waiting.
