"Damn it!" Namjoon swore as he read the resignation letter submitted by Jin's chief bodyguard, Hajun. "Now we need to find someone new... someone who can deal with Jin, his tantrums..and everything!" He rubbed his temples in frustration. It was no secret that Jin wasn't very friendly and finding staff who could work closely with him had always been a nightmare."Yeah!!" San replied, sitting down on Namjoon's couch and enjoying a croissant, seemingly unbothered by the fumes of frustration emanating from Namjoon's head.
"Hyung! We need someone new! Didn't you hear?" Namjoon said to San, who looked pretty relaxed considering the situation
"I know!! So find one!!" San responded casually.
"Do something!" Namjoon whined. Though he was the director, San had been working with Jin for so long that he was like a big brother to even Namjoon and was practically family and he trusted his decisions when it came to Jin.
"I'm his manager..not his brother or his boss. Hire someone and I'll get him a tissue box when Jin bullies him. You know he hates almost all human beings in the world except for maybe 10 people he's close to" San replied.
"There are 10?" Namjoon asked puzzled.
"Your kids included!!" San clarified .
Namjoon nodded. "Yeah, sounds about right.!! Damn, does Hajun really have to move? Can't he stay for a few more months? "
"His wife is finally pregnant after waiting for almost five years! And she is in Jeju...running a cafe by herself..Now she can't and what else is he supposed to do? I would run to my wife too..in such a situation. And just admit that your brother is not very fun to work with..it's not Hajun's fault..It's Jin's" San said shrugging
Namjoon groaned as he looked through the security personnel files in the company database, searching for someone who wouldn't offend Jin and wouldn't be easily offended by Jin too. "Jin was getting okay with Hajun... no fights or complaints for the last four months. Can we offer his wife a good job here so..."
"Stop scheming and hire someone new! You can't just give in to him always!" San rolled his eyes. Even though Namjoon scolded Jin often , San knew Namjoon was the biggest enabler and still babied him..and was present to clean up every mess he creates for himself.
"Okay, both of you seem to be so out of touch with the world. You might want to see this!!" Soyeon, who had been sitting quietly in the corner with her tablet, pulled up a video and showed it to her husband.
San didn't bother to get up..he stayed in his seat and sipped his coffee. "What is it?" he asked lazily.
Soyeon handed Namjoon the tablet. "Just watch."
Namjoon's expression shifted from stressed to impressed in seconds as he watched the video his wife pulled up .There was this young bodyguard... picking up a guy like he weighed nothing, who ran towards an idol at the airport and cornering him with a sharp gaze and a warning slap on his cheeks . It was almost cinematic. So impressive...The video already has millions of views and it's only been up for a two days!"
"That's amazing work. This girl is Cherry Wave's Maknae Chaerin right!! Did we hire him? Who is it?" Namjoon asked, now intrigued.
"Jeon Jungkook.!!" Soyeon answered " Baek hired and trained him. He is quite famous, yeobo! His videos are all over the internet and he even has fan pages..He is more popular than some of our idols! how come you don't know?" Soyeon asked as she took back the tablet to pull up few social media pages dedicated to the hot bodyguard .
Namjoon frowned at Soyeon's enthusiasm. "Because I'm the director of the company, I don't know everyone. That's why we have team leaders and department heads. Also, I'm straight and happily married..why would a stare at buff tattooed guys?" he added, poking his cheeks with his tongue and raising his eyebrows playfully as he glanced over at his wife.
