A Week before the events in Canon I-Island
Jaune was invited by the Science Convention in I-Island and he obliged believing he can learn more
He had a plus one invitation and he chose the most responsible among his friends which is Shinso rather the walking catastrophe known as Mei
He also wanted his Mom to join but she relented saying someone needs to watch the house and Dum-E and Dum-R can't do it by themselves
Meanwhile on a Private Jet
Jaune and Shinso was drinking Soda and having fine dining
Shinso: man I can never get used to this rich lifestyle being your friend.
Jaune: that's good it means your not like those social climbers.
Shinso: aw thanks bud.
He took a sip
Shinso: so what are we gonna do on this high tech island?
Jaune: you can enjoy the sites and wonders and buy some souvenirs for Mei if you want.
Shinso: what can I buy a person who blows up anything they touch anything?
Jaune: it's up to you bud. I'll be busy talking with the other geniuses about new tech or something else.
The Pilot notified them of their landing
Jaune and Shinso came out and Jaune was met by numerous groups of scientist asking him questions
Shinso slipped out and decided to check out the place for a change of pace
Jaune answered their questions until he was pulled by the side by another scientist
It was a man with glasses
???: it seems like you need some rescuing.
Jaune: ah my Hero. Thank you Mr. Shield.
David: you already know who I am? My reputation proceeds me.
Jaune: nah my Brother is an All Might Fan boy and he knows all known associates by name. If he was here he'd be geeking out right about now.
David chuckles at the remark but his laughter was interrupted by someone calling for him
It was a blonde young girl who was bouncing towards them on a pogo stick
Melissa: Daaaad!
David: Melissa? I thought I said I would be busy entertaining a guest..
Melissa: but I was curious and I thought it would be uncle Might.
She noticed Jaune and recognized him from all the reports on the new CEO of Stark Industries
