Izuku was hospitalized but not in the usual sense, the doctors were checking up on him and detected the previous injuries and those that were considered permanent were no longer there, his scars have all but faded as well
He was being put through an MRI as Jaune was overlooking him from the glass window
Melissa arrived to check on both of them and saw the worried look in Jaune's eyes
Melissa: Jaune?
Jaune: .......
Melissa: Jaune.
Jaune: Melissa. I didn't notice you there, what is it? Business?
Melissa: no. Everyone was worried after an announcement came to the T.V about a gang being taken down and you both were a part of the list of heroes participating.
Jaune: ah....sorry it was a complete hush hush operation.
Melissa: did something happen to Dekiru kun?
Jaune: actually not this time, whatever that little girl's quirk is...it reversed all the damage Izuku sustained for the year.
Melissa: that's....
Jaune: I hope that girl can still have a normal life despite all that has happened.
Meanwhile somewhere else in the hospital
Eri was being treated by Recovery Girl
Melissa: that's not the only thing on you're mind.
Jaune: I have a lot of things on my mind right now.
She leaves him to his thoughts and momentarily she came back and put an ice cold can on his face making him recoil
Melissa: that's good, if you really were in deep thought simple reflex doesn't even work.
Jaune: gee thanks.
Once the check up was done Izuku was released on a perfect bill of health
He walks outside and saw Jaune and Melissa was waiting for him
Jaune: how was the check up?
Izuku: Nothing. Nothing was wrong with me. Whatever Eri did undone most of the damage I did to myself since the Sports Festival.
He looks to his hands and no longer sees the scars
Jaune: don't think that this is a good reason to go get hurt again.
He laughs awkwardly and scratches the back of his head
Melissa: well that's good to hear.
Then someone approached them and it was their homeroom teacher
Aizawa: Midoriya. It looks like you're all good to go, there's someone who wants to see you.
They went to go see little Eri as she instantly ran to Izuku and gave him a hug
Eri: are you okay mister!?
Izuku: I'm fine. Really. How about you?
Eri shakes her head and made a brave face
