They see Overhaul using his quirk to disassemble his surroundings to create weapons as they took countermeasures

But the focus was more on Dekiru as Overhaul was trying to pry Eri away from him

He sets Eri down behind him and shielded her
Then blood splattered across her face as the spikes were able to pierce through him
Although there was a breach Izuku remained strong as he destroyed the spikes that got stuck on his armor
