"You've got to be kidding me. Lalisa dumped you?" Jimin said, shocked, while staring at the message Lisa sent Taehyung just minutes ago.

Taehyung sat there in silence, his jaw clenched tightly. His mind was a mess, and his heart burned in frustration. That short message from Lisa felt like someone had poured gasoline over a fire that was already raging inside him.

"Wait, hold on—she's the one who turned you down?" Jungkook asked, brows raised, clearly trying to make sense of the situation. "She's the one who backed away from you?"

Taehyung ran a hand down his face and sighed. "What did you expect? That she would dump her boyfriend and run to me? That she'd say yes right after what we did?" he said bitterly, his voice laced with sarcasm. He stared blankly ahead, as if asking himself the same thing.

Jimin exchanged a look with Jungkook before scoffing. "You're gaslighting yourself, man," he muttered. He shook his head in disbelief as he looked away from the phone screen.

Taehyung suddenly leaned back and blurted out, "We slept together, okay?"

Both Jungkook and Jimin froze.

"What?" Jungkook blinked. "You actually...?"

Jimin looked up from the couch, slowly turning to him. "Wait—you and Lisa?"

Taehyung nodded, emotionless. "While her boyfriend was in the same house. In the next room."

The room went silent. It was the kind of silence that made everything feel heavier. Taehyung didn't even flinch. He sat there like it was just another regular conversation. But to Jungkook and Jimin, it wasn't.

Jungkook rubbed his forehead. "You really did it, huh? While Jackson was right there?"

"I didn't plan it," Taehyung muttered. "But it happened."

Jungkook let out a long, tired sigh and leaned back. He had been putting up with Jisoo's anger for weeks now, trying his best not to explode. He was caught in the crossfire between the married couple, and the worst part? He had no say in any of this, yet he was taking all the hits.

Jimin, on the other hand, didn't seem too surprised. He'd been backing Taehyung since the start. He had always made it look like Taehyung had no flaws. Jisoo trusted Jimin when it came to her husband, and Jimin had used that to keep her blind to the truth.

"Wait," Jimin said, narrowing his eyes, "Lisa was with her boyfriend all night. How did you even manage to—?"

Taehyung didn't respond with words. He just smirked. A smug, unapologetic smirk.

And that alone said everything.

Jimin leaned back, arms crossed. "Unbelievable. You really went that far while the guy was right there in the same apartment?"

Taehyung grabbed his phone and stood up. "Whatever. I'll let it slide for now. Maybe she needs space, right? I mean, we literally had sex while her boyfriend was sleeping in the living room. I should be a little... considerate."

He slipped the phone into his pocket and walked toward the door.

Both Jimin and Jungkook watched him go, judgment written all over their faces.

Later that night, Lisa let out a sigh as she took off her sling bag and placed it on the table. She stared at her reflection in the mirror, fixing her bangs. Jackson plopped onto the couch behind her and stretched with a loud groan.
