Hey, this is the end.
There'll be no more chapters of I'll Keep You Safe.
I've started on a new book, Fire's Catching, simply because I've lost the passion for this one. I had such amazing ideas for this one, but with the way that the first chapters are written, I really don't feel like the book is salvageable. I wrote the first two to three chapters at the young age of thirteen, and that shows in the writing. Everything, from the description of Noah when the boys first met, to the fantastical house Liam lives in. I don't know how to fix them, I've already tried. The chapters you can read here are the ones I've already tried to fix. I might pick this up again at a later time, maybe completely rewrite the start, but not at this point in time.
Please show Fire's Catching some support, as I feel really good about it. Just like I'll Keep You Safe, it's an LGBTQ+ themed book bleeding over into fantasy. What happens when normal people in a normal world get powers? So no dystopian future world like this one, but I still feel like it'll be better.
I guess this is it. Thank you to everyone who've read the chapters and voted for them.
Goodbye, I'll Keep You Safe.
