Chapter Seven
...Bakugo was the first to recover from the shock the quickest. The tall blonde women had just taken out a crazied demon or what Izuku called a curse with just her hand. "The hell do you mean what type of girls are you into?" He yelled, which seemed to amuse the woman who smiled at Bakugo. Her knowing gaze and smile was like a knife digging into Bakugo's skin.
The women sat down next to Izuku, making the green haired boy blush. "Well, I am curious since this green haired super teen has been trying to fight curses without cursed energy for a while now." She said with a smile.
Izuku didn't realize he had been watched when he was testing himself against curses. From what Izuku could tell, no one was watching, but clearly, this woman knew more than she was letting on. If she was able to defeat a cursed spirit, then she had only one identity. "She's a Jujutsu Sorcerer, a strong one at that." Izuku stated bluntly.
"Yuki Tsukumo at you're service but don't get it wrong, I'm not merely a Jujutsu Sorcerer, but I'm also a Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer." Yuki explained. "It's a rare rank with only three special grades left on the planet." Yuki added as she took a sip out of Izuku’s drink.
Izuku looked at Yuki and then thought back to the Sorcerer Nanami. "Are you here to kill us?" Izuku asked.
Bakugo slammed both of his palms on the table. "Let her try, I don't care if she can beat up frog dogs she wouldn't stand a chance against me." Bakugo said with a cocky grin.
Yuki laughed, covering her mouth with her left hand. "As funny as that sounds, I'm here because I heard Izuku here fought Mahito, I've been watching him for awhile now and with the major heads focusing on the Goodwill Event tomorrow I wanted to make you an offer." She smiled as she put an arm around Izuku’s shoulder.
"You want to make us Jujutsu Sorcerers?" Shoto asked, speaking up for the first time since Yuki Tsukumo sat down at the table.
Yuki shook her head. "Well, I can't make you a Jujutsu Sorcerer, only Mahito can." She began to explain as she clasped her hands together and stole one of Izuku’s fries. "See, you need a brain that can control cursed energy. You three don't have that ability, but due to your quirks, there is a way you can fight curses." She explained as she pulled out some weapons on the table.
Looking at the markings on the weapons, Izuku recognized them as being similar to the ones on Nanami's blade. "These are curse killing weapons, aren't they." Izuku asked.
"Well, aren't you a smarty pants hero, you are right these are called cursed tools, they allow those with weaker cursed energy reserves to fight against curses, with some training and your glasses you would be able to fight against curses." Yuki explained as she stole yet another sip of Izuku's drink.
Bakugo scoffed at Yuki's words. "Do you think we are stupid? You clearly have some ulterior motive." He shouted much to Yuki's amusement.
"Well, of course I have an ulterior motive, but I doubt you'd mind my reasonings." She said nonchalantly. "I'm sort of a pain in the ass for my higher ups, and this will cause them to blow a blood vessel, let's just keep it at that." She said with a mischievous smile.
"If Bakugo and Shoto are willing to learn, I agree, if I'm the only hero who can fight curses and something happens to me, lives could be in danger." Izuku said. He knew that having multiple heroes or rather future heroes with knowledge of curses could protect those they cared about from curses. Whether or not this woman has ulterior motives for Izuku and his friends was irrelevant when faced with the threat curses brought with them.
"I'm down, it's not like I'm learning much from my father." Shoto said glummly. Despite his father being the Number One, Hero Shoto hated his father. He worked with him for his career, but that's where their relationship began and ended. If Endeavor wasn't in the position he was in Shoto, he would have picked a different agency.
Bakugo glared at Shoto them at Izuku but he too wanted to get stronger. If Izuku was willing to undergo this training, he couldn't allow himself to fall behind. On top of that he knew deep inside of himself that Yuki Tsukumo had powers he didn't, even it he couldn't control his cursed energy, he wouldn't let curses hold power over him. "I'm in." He grumbled through his teeth.
"Excellent, we will begin work immediately, I know this isolated lake area where we won't be disturbed." Yuki said with a smile as she gave Izuku's shoulder another squeeze before getting to her feet. "To killing curses!." She yelled however the patrons ignored her as the table had been rowdy since Bakugo walked in.
