Silver Meets Royalty

Chapter 11- Luna's?

Imene P.O.V.

           Preparations has started this week for the royal cornation. It hasn't been one since queen erica and king edward took the throne almost two decades ago. Each pack will be joining the reception and feast. Rumors state that prince phoenix personally invited the vampire king, the fairy queen, and a few of the witch covens to come to the coronation. This will be the first time ever that each supernatural form was attending an event together -espiecially a royal cornation.

           Who knows what is yet to come this following month.. and let's not forget the future luna queen known imene is rumored to be the first silver wolf in 100 decades. Now it's no current pictures the the princess where bouts but according to my sources she is as fierce as they come with a great beauty to match.

             I let out a huff as I finally put down the seventh magizine that was talking about the upcoming cornation. While everyone around me is excited and ready to the 'special day' I was dreading the time for going so fast. I want to be with pohienix and I don't even mind being a luna .... but queen? I'm not fit to be a queen to anybody. Sadly it seems like im the only one that seems to get that. Phoenix is either obvilous of my feelings or he is too busy to even notice.

            Since my luna ceremony I haven't been able to spend much alone time with phoenix. We would wake up together and eat breakfeast then for the rest of the day he was off doing his alpha dutes and I was learning the royal ways and to prepare being queen by queen erica herself. I'm a alpha's daughter so I know how to present myself appropriately in public so the only real difference of being queen in public is to not forget all eyes are on me.

            Queen erica is actually really nice. She holds a motherly feeling about her to everyone and it's crazy admirable how she never seems to get stressed out. A feeling I never experienced from my own mom. She was a good mom don't get me wrong she just wasn't meant to be a mom. Queen erica truly loved her job and the closer we got the more I wanted to beg her to keep it. I could never be her and honestly I have no idea how im supposed to become a living goddess something I haven't even told my mate about.

              At first I was waiting on the right time to tell him until I realized it will never be a good tie to sprung my fate onto him. So I decided in spite of shay disagreement that I wouldn't tell him unless I absolutely have to. The only thing that kept me from freaking out about everything is that I had faith that everything will work out at the end. I just hope I'm right.

            I continue my run around the pack grounds while I'm headed to the training ground. According to queen erica once I become queen I would only be allowed to train privately unless I'm training. Little do she know if I'm going to be queen I'm going to live my life the way I see fit and anybody that doesn't like it can get out my face. I loved train not only because it's a huge part of my identity but because he help me have a reason to get up every morning.

          I finally reached the training ground as I see a crowd as formed around the stage area. I walk over closer to see what everyone was looking at to reveal joy and some she wolf fighting. However the she wolf was she was clearly a warrior and had a upper hand on joy. Joy was average fighter but she had no business fighting a warrior and it wasn't something joy would do wihout reason. Seeing the shewolf pin joy down to the ground by her neck joy put her head to the side submitting. The shewolf got up with a nasty smirk looking around like who wants next.

          ''I told you little girl you aren't meant to be a beta female. Hell your meant to be in college not leading a pack.'' The shewolf said smuggly as I saw joy get up looking ashamed. The look of vulnerability on my bestfriend face got me and shay so rile up I can feel my blood boiling.

         ''Says the wolf who chose to fight someone less skilled than herself!' I shouted out gaining all eyes on me. The crowd started to separate to let me walk up on stage as I passed joy coming down. She didn't even look my way still ashamed at her current loss as she just kept walking.

           ''Ah! Imene right? I can promise you I can beat anybody even you ms.queen b.'' The shewolf spoke giving me the biggest smirk. She was very built and structured so I can tell she trained alot however that didnt put any fear in my heart. Unlike her shitty personality she was actually very beautiful on the outside.

          ''What is your name?'' I questioned. She clearly had no respect for her authority figures and had a aggronance about her that screamed 'nobody can touch me.'

           ''Insia.'' she said matter factly like I was supposed to know her already. "Im sure phoenix has mentioned me then again maybe he doesn't want you to know that your just the side piece.''

          I could feel shay stir in me at her comment. Her and phoenix? I'm not even surprised she is gorgeous and probably strong enough to lead the werewolf community. The way she called phoenix name instead of alpha had such familiarity in it that I could tell she calls him by his name all the time. The only people who are allowed to do that are people closest to him. Yet  I didn't wnat insia to see her comment had an affect on me.

           ''Oh really? is that why he made me luna of this pack?'' I smirked seeing how my comment made insia smirk falter.

           ''I was supposed to be luna not some spoiled bitch. He only wants you because of your rank. He wanted me for me!'' she screamed. Before I could stop shay she took control over my body and lunged at insia. He grabbed her by the throat and punched her in the stomach making insia fall and hit her head. Insia got back up pretty quickly but not before shay kicked her flying backwards towards the stairs. She rolled down stairs until the ground appeared under her. At this point you could see the smoke come out insia ears as she jumped up and threw herself ontop of me. I could feel my nails come out and stab inisa in her back causing a loud shrek come from her. Shay pushed her off of us as she got on top and started to punch insia over and over. I couldn't stop shay nomatter how loud I screamed for shay to stop.

            The tingling feeling started to erupt upon my arms as I noticed I was being pulled off of insia by phoenix. I was trying to push at the link so I can take control of shay but she was so mad she blocked me out.

Phoenix shook me trying to get shay attention.

         ''Shay!shay! give imene control now!'' phoenix bellowed out using his alpha command. Immediately shay resided back in my head and gave me control as I felt my eyes shift back to my normal hazel brown. I finally looked around to see the crowd got bigger with faces of shock/scared people. I searched for insia only to find her laying bloodied and bruised on the loor groaning in pain. I turned back to phoenix to see his worried yet very angry face.

            Looking away in shame I ran away from the crowd and my mate as I made my way back into the packhouse. I found my way to my room as I shut myself in hoping to down my self in my sorrows with my tears.
