Sometime later, in Otheon capital city's shantytown, a street urchin named Rody Soul says goodbye to his younger siblings, Roro and Lala, to go to work, accompanied by his little bird companion, Pino. He goes to a local bar.
"Old man, you got a lead for me?" Rody asks the owner, Stanleyk.
The man stops wiping glass and glances at Rody. He doesn't answer the boy and goes back to cleaning the glass, but when Rody casually gives him a 300 euro bill, Stanleyk gives him a response.
"Pickup's on East Third Street." Stanleyk instructed. "Be quick about it. The package needs to be delivered to the Chinese restaurant in South Grove."
"How much cash are we talking?"
"Heh." The owner smirks. "Like you're in a position to negotiate fees. You'll take the regular rate and do it with a smile."
Pino protests this job, but Rody accepts it. "Okay. I'm on it. Done before you know it."
As Rody left the bar, he noticed a bike parked outside and decided to ride away with it. Seeing this, the owner opens the windows of his bar and yells at Rody.
"What are you--that's my bike!"
"You stole it from someone else. I'll give it back to its rightful owner later!"
Pino chirped in agreement.
"You can't just take whatever you want, damn punk!" Stanleyk shouted back as Rody turned a corner.
"C'mon." Rody said to his bird companion. "Let's get this over with."
Pino coos.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Izuku, Hikari, Katsuki, and Shoto walk down the streets carrying grocery bags.
"Whoa!" Izuku gaped at the structure of the vibrant area. "The streets are so busy!"
"Yeah, well, I guess it is the biggest city in Otheon." Shoto mentioned.
"It's so lively!" Hikari beamed. "I wish we were allowed to explore more of this country."
Katsuki let out an annoyed sigh. "Being told to wait on standby is one thing." He then yells in Izuku's face. "But since when do I get treated like an errand boy?"
"It's because we're the lowest ranking members in our group." Shoto answered.
"Huh?!" Katsuki exclaimed, turning his head toward the fire and ice user.
"He's right, Katsuki." Hikari said to her boyfriend. "The only reason we got called up in the first place is because we're doing our work studies at Endeavor's Agency. We're basically freebies that were thrown in."
"Still." Izuku's expression turned serious. "We have a huge responsibility here."
"Yeah." Hikari nods with a serious expression. "Our job is to protect the world from Humarise."
"And we will find them." Shoto adds. "We'll make sure of it."
"The stupid organization is full of obsessed idiots." Katsuki commented. "Why do they believe the Quirk Doomsday Theory? They're taking a totally hypothetical idea and using it to justify their crimes."
"All of the members that were at the raided Humarise bases are Quirkless." Hikari recalled. "What the hell did they go through to make them believe in the Quirk Doomsday Theory and want to slaughter every person on Earth that has a Quirk?"
Hikari thought about Izuku Midoriya, back when he was Quirkless, and Melissa Shield. Izuku was Quirkless during most of his life until All Might, Hikari's father, gave him One For All, a powerful Quirk passed down from generation to generation. Before he received One For All, he never gave up his dream of becoming a hero even though he has been treated badly for being Quirkless. Melissa Shield is the daughter of David Shield, a prominent scientist and a former teammate of Hope and All Might. Melissa was diagnosed as Quirkless when she was little, but she had another goal that allowed her to help heroes and fight for peace indirectly. Just like her father.
