Hikari Yagi's POV:

During me and Izuku's fight with Flect Turn, I passed out due to blood loss thanks to the serious injuries I received. Thankfully, Rody was able to get to the control system in time and deactivate the Trigger Bombs before they could go off. With the terrorist plot foiled and imminent destruction averted, it was a decisive victory for the heroes worldwide. All the surviving Humarise members have been arrested, including the police officers; the bombs are safely removed, and the injured Heroes are treated with medical care. The case was resolved without a single new Trigger Bomb exploding. In the end, the heroes protected this world. But, it wasn't just the pros and students. The one who really saved everybody... The one who gave his all was him. Rody Soul.

After we all recovered from our injuries, Katsuki, Todoroki, Izuku, and I, along with the other members of the Endeavor Agency, prepare to head back to Japan. When we were about to board the plane, Rody showed up at the airport to say goodbye to me and Izuku. He pretended that he's glad to be rid of us, but Pino's sad expression showed that he's gonna miss us. We bid a tearful goodbye to each other, and Izuku and I boarded the plane with the others.

After returning to Japan, my friends and I, and the Class 1-B students who participated in the mission, reunited back with all our classmates at UA, who welcomed us, congratulated us for our success, and are happy to see that we're all alright.

One day, when I was alone with Mom and Dad in our usual conference room, I told them about how I tried to heal Izuku when he got shot by that arrow and how it didn't work. Then, they told me something unbearable.

"What!?" I gasped after my parents told me what I have supposedly forgot happened back at Nabu Island. "Did that really happen!?"

"Yes." Dad nodded. "In a desperate attempt to stop the villain threatening the islanders and your classmates, Young Midoriya gave you and Young Bakugou One For All, the three of you used said power to defeat him

"Hold on a second!" I immediately got up from my seat on the sofa across from my parents. "This doesn't make any sense! If Izuku transfered One For All to me and Katsuki, then why does he still have the Quirk? Follow-up question: How in the world was he able to give both of us One For All?! Also--"

"We understand you have a lot of questions, but believe it or not, your own will allow One For All to remain inside Izuku." Mom stopped me from saying a thousand questions. "I think that healing thing you were able to do also played a part in One For All staying with Izuku, and as a result, you permanently lost that ability."

I was so shocked by mom's theory that I couldn't say anything else. Now that I think about it, when I was learning more about that healing water ability I had, I didn't practice it on anyone else other than Izuku, myself, and my parents. I haven't even used it since then. I did try to surprise Katsuki with this ability by healing him when I cut myself, but that was also when I found out I couldn't heal myself. I tried healing Katsuki when he got a burn, but I couldn't understand why I wasn't able to heal him. I was more upset when I wasn't even able to heal the injuries my parents got from fighting All For One several years ago.

"Sweetheart, I have a question for you." Dad said. "How would you react if I offered to give you One For All?"

I gave my dad a confused look. I wasn't expecting him to ask that question, but nonetheless, I gave him an honest answer.

"To tell you the truth, Dad, Mom, I don't want to inherit One For All." I stared at my hand. "I have my own Quirk. It has some limitations, and it doesn't come with several additional Quirks, but it's mine." I sadly smiled as I looked at my parents. "You know, when Izuku was still Quirkless, I was worried about him and I watched over him because of that. I felt like I need to protect him because he was Quirkless, but... now I realized it was wrong of me to do that."I lower my gaze. "Most of the people around us said I was a good friend to Izuku, but I wasn't that supportive, so..."

"Sweetheart..." I heard Dad say.

That's right. I was no different from Katsuki and everyone else in the past. I didn't bully him, but I treated Izuku with extra care because he didn't have a Quirk.

I raised my head to look my parents with a resolved look. "But now is different. Not because he has a Quirk and got into UA, but because... because I want to be a better friend!"

Mom and Dad gazed at me, then they gazed at each other and smiled.

"You know, Sweetheart," Mom turned back to me. "Gran Torino told us about your heartfelt speech before your mission to save Eri." I blinked a couple times and mom continued. "Your speech about how you want to fight fate, how you want to become a reliable hero, and how you want Sir Nighteye to accept Izuku as your father's successor."

"Sweetheart." Dad gave me a warm smile. "You are a good friend to Young Midoriya. You never treated him badly, you stood by his side, you made him smile when he was down, and you protected him just like you would for anyone else. So, for your sake and ours, don't ever say you were never a good friend."

I smiled at my parents. "Okay."

In the past, our relationship wasn't like Todoroki's family, but it wasn't good either. Mom and Dad were overprotective, I wasn't allowed outside alone, we never did anything as a family in public, they were busy being pro heroes, they didn't tell me anything about One For All and All For One, and mostly Teru, also known as the healing sidekick: Lumine, took care of me. Now, the three of are having a normal conversation as a family and everyone knows that I'm their daughter. It feels nice.

"So~" Mom grabbed my attention. "Are you going to tell us everything you did in Otheon, or what?"

"You mean besides getting falsely accused of mass-murder with my best friend, having no choice but to run away to Klayd, and fighting a crazy villain?" I sarcastically asked.

"Anything else besides that, though?" Mom asked, making my Dad and I laugh.

"Well, we did make a new friend named Rody Soul."
