Now that the two heroes are left inside the Humarise base, Izuku and Hikari reach the main hub.
'This is the deepest room in the base.' Izuku thought as he and Hikari walked into the room.
"Deku, the Trigger Bomb control system should be on the other side of those doors!" Hikari points at the doors between two columns. "Let's go!"
Hikari and Izuku ran towards the doors to the control system. However, the Humarise security system activated and fired two lasers at the two heroes, prompting them to stop and dodge the lasers.
"How dare you?" Flect Turn spoke to the two hero students from the top of the stairs. "This is not a place where the diseased should set foot."
'This guy must be the leader of this crazy cult.' Hikari thought as soon as she and Izuku saw the blue man.
'Flect Turn.' The two heroes thought the same thing.
"You both have entered a holy stronghold that will bring about the salvation of humanity."
Steel walls rise up from the floor and cover the bookshelves.
"You think this is what the world needs?" Izuku questioned disapprovingly as Flect Turn descended the steps. "The Quirk Doomsday Theory hasn't been scientifically verified! You're basing your crimes on nothing but a rumor! How can you accept something so speculative and use it to justify doing such terrible things?"
"Pure humans are being threatened by the sickness of Quirks." The cult leader formally stated after walking down the stairs. "Of that, there is no doubt. As time passes, these powers will mix, evolve, and run rampant, driving humanity to destruction."
"That's just your own insane presumption!" Hikari argued. "You don't actually know what will happen in the future! Whether you have a Quirk or not doesn't matter. We're all alive. We're all human beings!"
"The gravely afflicted are beyond our help. I suppose I shall have to force the two of you to atone."
"We'll stop your Trigger Bombs if it's the last thing we do!" Together, the two heroes retaliate by attacking Flect Turn with St. Louis Smash and Sunflower Fist Thrust, but the cult leader's Quirk reflected the heroes' attacks back at them. They screamed and were sent flying into one of the metal walls with great force.
'What the hell!?' Hikari thought as she staggered back to her feet despite the pain she's feeling.
'Did he counter our attacks?' Izuku thought, slowly getting back up. 'No, this shock and force.'
'This heat. It felt like we were hit with a Smash and Sunflower Fist Thrust.'
"Deku, are you alright?" Hikari asked. "I wasn't expecting our attacks to be reflected back at us, I'm worried you got some burns from the flames of my attack."
"That's right." Flect Turn admits before Izuku could answer Hikari's question. "I was born with this cursed plague myself." Mirrors appeared from the cult leader's clothes and surrounded his body. "A disease that can't be cured. I automatically reflect on all I come in contact with."
'Himawari and I knew it.' Izuku thought, going back into a fighting stance. 'His Quirk makes any attack against him bounce back. It's the kind of power that's always activated.'
"So, even though you have an ability of your own, you still think they're somehow evil?" Izuku questioned the blue man as he and Hikari attacked him with Delaware Smash Air Force and Sunflower Shot, but they're reflected to them again. Hikari protected Izuku from the spears of fire this time as they crashed into the metal wall again.
