Krizalid snorted when he spotted K's sulking face. He nudged Zayn and pointed at K', making him laugh as well.
"Stop it, the two of you," K' groaned.
"That's a really impressive scowl, Dash," Zayn chuckled. "But why do you hate them so much though?"
"You'll see why when they come," K' grumbled.
The two of them eagerly waited, snacking on some butter sandwich crackers that Krizalid brought with him. They offered some to K' but he rejected their offer.
The Psycho Boyz arrived, gaining the attention of the K' Team as they straightened themselves, especially Krizalid and Zayn since they were eager to see what would unfold.
"Ah, K'!" Chin amiably greeted, earning a groan from said person. "Hello! Glad to see that you have found some purpose now."
"I don't need your validation or satisfaction," K' blandly said. "I'm doing what I like, with who I like."
"And that's good!" Chin grinned. "The BOF! How nice. You should see me when I'm onstage too."
K' sighed. "Unfortunately, I have."
"Greetings, opponents," Krizalid dramatically said as he joined them.
"Oh, and you have made peace too!" Chin added.
K' frowned. "Have you been living under a rock or something?"
"How's Kula?" Bao changed the subject.
"She's fine," K' said. "She's in this tournament with her friends."
"Oh... I thought she was your friend..." Bao said. "I guess she must've found other friends, then..."
K' just turned to look at his teammates, who shrugged and came to his rescue.
"What about Athena?" Zayn said. "She not with you?"
"She joined with the girls..." Bao pouted.
"Well, same with us," Zayn pointed out. "Anyway, got some meat buns, Kensou?"
Kensou looked at him in surprise, unable to utter a word due to him stuffing an entire char siew bao into his mouth.
"Snacking," Krizalid smirked. "I like it."
K' sighed. "Let's just start this battle already..."
Chin giggled. "You bet!"
The iconic Tachi Bou Ke started playing in the background, much to K's dismay. Why couldn't it be his theme for once?

Kula gasped when Athena and her teammates arrived at the arena. "Athena!" She cheerfully greeted, waving at her.
Athena hugged her. "Where's Dash? You guys didn't team up with him?"
"Nope," Kula grinned. "I'm teaming with my besties these time."
"Then what about the rest?" Momoko asked, munching on a pork bun.
"They joined their own team," Isolde said. "Just like you guys."
Momoko chuckled. "Ah. So we did the same thing!"
Kaoru chuckled. "Okay, this is my first time as a legit participant in a tournament and not just a striker."
"Congrats!" Sylvie cheered. "It's my first tournament in a nice team instead of weirdo whackos too."
Momoko leaned towards Athena. "I thought she was a part of those weirdo whacko? Like she is one too."
Athena shushed her and frowned. "Momo, the poor girl has already been through so much, give her a break!"
"Yeah, Momo," Kaoru added. "She dealt with all sorts of trauma."
"Right, right," Momoko nodded as she backed away.
"We are so gonna win this!" Sylvie leapt around.
And then proceeded to talk to her 'friends' that sat her head.
"Yeah, maybe she is a little bit of a whacko herself..." Athena couldn't help but remark.
Isolde snorted. "This coming from a team that calls themselves Psycho Soldiers."
"Oof!" Kula grinned, nibbling on a chocolate bar.
Athena sighed. "Fine, fine. But we call ourselves that for a different reason."
"Because we manifest our psychic energy," Momoko added.
"Yeah, but Psycho has a different meaning," Kula said, puzzled. "Okay, why do you guys actually call yourselves that anyway?"
The Psycho Soldiers exchanged looks, then shrugged.
"We're actually not sure," Kaoru finally said.
"Maybe because it just sounds cool," Momoko added.
Isolde took out her sword in a similar fashion that Foxy and Diana did. "Can we start the battle now?"
"Yeah, we should," Athena agreed and activated her powers.
Pink sparkles surrounded her as she stood rather for the battle, facing Kula who decided to go first. Her strawberry blonde hair turned blue as an aura of ice surrounded her. A remix of Purity Soldiers started in the background, mixed with certain elements of Ice Place. It was as if the theme was made just for them, sending a surge of adrenaline through the fighters.
The rest of the teammates stood at the side to watch, cheering whenever their teammate landed a blow.

"So this is the place?" Clone Zero asked, looking around as soon as they arrived at the arena.
"Yeah," Igniz nodded. "Seems like our opponents aren't here yet." He turned to the audience and waved at them with a smile. "At least we have spectators."
To their dismay, the audience started booing at them.
"I take it we aren't very popular..." Igniz sighed.
"Well, maybe not you, but I certainly am," Clone Zero smirked.
He used his powers to change into ten different outfits in one minute, all the while doing a little dance. The audience immediately started clapping.
"See what I mean?" Clone Zero grinned as he cheerfully waved at them.
"Good for you," Original Zero rolled his eyes. "Where are our opponents? I don't like this situation one bit."
Well, their opponents soon arrived, and they were a set of familiar faces too.
The Giants Team.
"Oh, darn," Original Zero groaned when their opponents arrived. "It's one of those guys."
"Three of those guys," Igniz added. "Well, we can deal with this."
"I can't believe you guys have the nerve to show your face after everything that happened," Foxy clicked her tongue as she shook her head. "The three of you, so much harm darn."
"You almost destroyed South Town, almost destroyed the world too," Diana added. "Real crackpots, the three of you."
"I guess it's a good thing I still have your battle data on me," Maxima remarked, scanning them. "There, not much has changed."
"Excuse me, but we have changed for the better," Clone Zero added. "We're no longer trying to destroy the world and such."
Diana smirked. "Well, congratulations on finally acting like a normal human being."
"We aren't even normal," Zero sighed. "But yeah, we're trying."
"You have done some good, I admit," Foxy in respect. "Taking care of kids is not easy."
Igniz sighed. "I agree. I have no idea how Original Zero does it."
"Yeah, neither do I," Clone Zero agreed. "Anyway, you guys coming for my next show?"
The opposing team frowned, then shook their heads.
"No thanks," Maxima finally said. "Can we just get this over with so that we can see what happened with Rugal?"
"I'm with you on that," Original Zero said. "Who's fighting the first round?"
They decided that Clone Zero would go first, fighting against Foxy in the first round. And so, the battle began, with Save the Universe playing in the background.
