It was hard for Aurora to comprehend that her father was murdered last night. It explains why he hasn't been back to the house.

Did she like him? No, she didn't.

Did he deserve to be murdered? No, of course not. Nobody deserves that.

Was she going to sit in her room and dwell on dark thoughts? No, she wasn't. She's going to get herself ready for the party at Stu's and she's going to have a good night.

Pushing away the horrific thoughts, Aurora stood up from her bed and headed for the bathroom.

After the much needed hot shower, Aurora dried herself off and changed into a white dress that had blue flowers printed all over it, followed by purple heels with a big bow on each.

Once she was dressed, she moved onto her hair. Aurora grabbed her hair dryer and blow dried her hair. Next, she grabbed her hair curler and curled every straight stran of hair.

By the time Aurora had showered, changed and did her hair, the sun began to set.

With one more look in the mirror, Aurora inhaled deeply and then made her way downstairs where Grace was.

"Where are you going?" Her mother asked with furrowed eyebrows. They still hadn't discussed what happened earlier. "There's a party at Stu's place and he invited me." Aurora replied back casually. "Do you think that's a good idea? I mean, with the murder's and...you're father..." Grace hesitantly said. Aurora sighed at that.

"It's a horrible thing...how he was murdered, I get that. But I'm not going to sit here and let the dark shit consume me. I'm going to Stu's house and I'm going to have a good time."

Grace watched in disbelief as Aurora walked to the front door only to be met by Dewey Riley, who was about to knock.

"Dewey? What...are you doing back here?" The brunette asked in confusion. "W-well... Sidney and Tatum are going to this party at Stu's house and I figured that you'd be going as well...so I can drop you off there." He offered.

"You're sister doesn't really like me, so I don't think it'd be a good idea."

"Nonsense! I will be taking you to the party... whether she likes it or not."

Hearing that made Aurora smile. Waving 'goodbye' to her mother, both Dewey and her walk over to his patrol jeep and get in.

Sidney was sat at the back, silently looking out of the window, while Tatum was in the passenger seat next to her brother. Aurora hopped in the back next to the uncomfortable Prescott girl.

"Is everyone ready to have a good time?!" Dewey said enthusiastically, trying to get the three happy...it didn't work.

"I would have a good time if she wasn't tagging along." Tatum mumbled out. "Stu actually invited me and I wasn't gonna turn it down." Aurora mumbled back, making the girl in the front scoff. "Whatever."

"Right back at ya."

After a twenty long awkward silence, they arrived at the Macher house and let's just say...it was popping off.

There was a bunch of people passed out and scattered across the lawn. Drunk's and druggies were hidden around the corner dealing drugs and smoking. The rest were already inside, dancing, drinking and socialising with others.

"Be safe girls! I'll be around if you need me." Dewey in formed them before they all hopped out. "Thank you, Dewey." Aurora thanked with a smile, one of which he returned.
