Bongbong woke up, stretching his arm to the other side of the bed.

Empty.

He instantly opened his eyes and went up. Leni wasn't there. His eyes automatically went to the small couch— no long sleeves. He felt anxious.

"Hon—" He paused, "Leni?" He called, slowly walking outside the room.

He then heard cluttering noise from the kitchen. "Len?"

He saw her in the kitchen, humming. She was cutting some garlic, her hair was down and she's wearing that red silk nightgown Jessa bought. It was so short that if she made a big movement or bend a little forward, he'll be able to see her butt.

"Len?" He called softly. He noticed that she's wearing his long sleeves.

She turned around. "O gising ka na pala! Wait lang, wala pang breakfast."

"I thought you left." He said, his eyes spell anxiety.

She paused, frowning. "No. Saan naman ako pupunta? Bumabagyo pa."

He walked closer to her and pulled her into a hug.

She gasped. She felt his arms hugged her tightly though she's not hugging him back. Her face was on his neck. "Bong—"

"Don't do that again." He almost whispered, pressing her body to his. "Don't leave me alone in bed."

She can feel his breath shaking as he say those words. She can feel his hands shaking as well. "Okay."

He closed his eyes, relieved. "Okay." He whispered.

She slowly pulled herself away from him. They stared at each other's eyes for a minute, before she cleared her throat and went back to cooking. He walked back to the bedroom.

In the past two years that they've been sleeping, she always leave him alone in the morning. Leaving his long sleeves folded on the couch. She never realized how much it affected him until now. He wanted to see her when he wakes up.

The breakfast and lunch was quiet for Bongbong and Leni. They both feel awkward about what happened in the kitchen. It's still raining, so they couldn't get outside. They just spent the day in meetings and coordinating with their respective staff.

It was already 10:45pm when Leni joined him in bed. "Bong, wala na tayong grocery."

He looked up from his phone. "Pa-deliver nalang tayo bukas ng food." He doesn't have groceries there since he usually eats in the palace.

She frowned. "Bumabagyo nga, sa tingin mo may mag dedeliver pa ng pagkain? Saka kawawa naman yung mga riders, mababasa sila."

She has a point, a very valid point. He then thought of an alternative. "Tawagan ko nalang si Jessa, magpapadala nalang tayo dito ng pagkain."

She sighed. "I called Jessa kanina, baha na din daw sa kanila kaya di sya makalabas."

"Tawagan ko nalang sa palasyo, magpapadala tayo dito ng pagkain." He said.

She clicked her tongue. "Huwag na. Mang aabala pa tayo. Ako nalang ang lalabas bukas para mag grocery. Bukas pa naman ang mga supermarket."

He frowned. "No. Baka ma stranded ka."

She glared at him, "Eh anong kakainin natin bukas? Paano kung lumakas pa ang ulan sa mga susunod na araw? Edi mas lalo tayong nagutom?"

Ikaw nalang kakainin ko. He wanted to say that but he knew she'll be mad at him forever. "Okay fine. Sasamahan kita."

"Hmm?" She blinked many times, trying to figure out if she heard him right. "Sasama ka?"

He nodded. "Tingin mo ba hahayaan kita lumabas mag-isa na ganito ang panahon?"

"Okay." She almost whispered. She didn't know why he's acting like a completely different person. Plus, she's quite amazed how he's not asking for sex. She slowly slipped inside the sheets for warmth.

He didn't bother to reply because he's busy typing something on his phone. Suddenly, his phone rang. He picked it up. "Hello, Joyce?"

"Hello, Babe?"

For some reason, Leni heard it loud and clear.

"Kumusta ka? Binaha din ba dyan sainyo?" He asked. He's sitting while he's back was resting on the headboard.

"Hindi naman, babe. Ikaw, how are you? Nakita ko sa news kanina yung meeting mo with PAG-ASA."

"Okay naman. Medyo stress, puro meetings eh. Humihingi din kasi ako ng updates galing sa mga agencies saka galing sa mga mayors." He said.

"Ahh. Huwag kang masyadong magpagod ha! Baka naman di ka na natutulog. Baka ikaw naman ang magkasakit nyan. Do you want me to visit you? Dadalhan kita ng food, babe."

"No, no. It's okay. I—"

Leni cleared her throat loudly.

"May kasama ka ba, babe?" Joyce asked.

Bongbong glanced at Leni but her back was facing him. "Ha? Uh, wala. Wala. Uh. Sige na, end ko na 'to. May incoming call kasi ako eh."

"Okay. Bye, babe! I'll see you soon."

Call ended.

Leni rolled her eyes, though he cannot see her.

He frowned at her. "Sinadya mo ba yun?"

She turned around to face him, frowning. "Alin?"

"Narinig ka ni Joyce." He said.

"Ay sorry po Mr. President, nakaistorbo po ako sa babe time nyo." She apologized sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes. "Matulog ka na nga!" He lie down as well, putting his phone on the bedside table.

"Tulog na sana ako kung hindi lang kayo maingay ng babe mo!" She countered.

"Stop talking, okay?! Just go to sleep!" He commanded.

She make face and rolled her eyes. She grumpily turned around and cover herself with the sheets, pulling it all to her. "Huwag ka magkumot!"

He frowned. Wala na syang kumot. He pulled the sheets back to him.

"Ano ba?! Wala na akong kumot!" She complained.

"Eh ikaw 'tong gusto sayo lahat eh!" He rebutted.

She pulled the sheets again. "Bahala ka dyan!"

He just sighed, giving up. He just turned his back to her and sleep.
