3 MONTHS LATER
He didn't call.
She waited.
That dinner never happened.
She sighed as she arranged her stuff at her new office. She's the elected Mayor of Naga City now, so she's starting to sort things out in her office.
"Marhay na aldaw po!" Someone knocked on her door.
"Oh my god!" Leni exclaimed, "Boss! I miss you!" She hugged Kit immediately.
Kit chuckled. "I miss you too, Mayor!"
She chuckled, breaking from their hug. "Hindi ka naman nagsabi na pupunta ka pala dito."
"Surprise nga diba." He said and sat on the small couch.
She just shook her head.
"Nga pala, how are you?" He asked.
"Okay naman." She said, putting some of her picture frames on her table.
"How's Bongbong?" He asked.
She looked at him, frowning. "I don't know."
"Huh? I thought mag didinner dapat kayo?" He was confused. Last time he knew, she was being asked by Bongbong for dinner.
She sighed, avoiding his eyes. "It never happened."
He sighed and went to hug her. "I know you're not okay."
She smirked. "Bakit naman? Dinner lang naman yun eh. Besides, wala naman na kaming obligasyon sa isa't-isa."
"But you're still hoping." He uttered.
Her eyes glistened.
"I know you, Leni." He said.
She walked away, filing her folders, "I never hoped for something to happen, Boss."

"Miss na miss na kita!" Leni hugged Bongbong tightly.
He giggled, "I miss you too! Isang araw lang naman tayo di nagkita."
"Kahit na! Miss pa rin kita. Pakiramdam ko ang layo na natin sa isa't-isa eh." She pouted.
He cupped her face, "We'll make it work, okay? Konting tiis nalang, hmm?"
"Ang tagal pa ng three years, Bong." She pouted.
He hugged her again, "Sorry. Konting tiis pa, okay? Malalaman nalang natin tapos na yung term ko."
She nodded.
"I love you, Leni." He whispered.
She smiled sweetly.
Then, she woke up.
It was just a dream.
"Oh my god!" She sat down, panting. She check the clock and it's 2am. She facepalm herself as she lay down on her bed once again.
Tick tock! Tick tock!
She clicked her tonge and decided to stood up. She went to the kitchen for cold water. She couldn't sleep after that dream.
It felt so real.
He felt so real.
What the hell just happened?!
