Season 4 Episode 1

Waking up to an empty bed was the most abhorent thing in the world in Eloisa's book.

To not have the warmth of her soulmate right by her side, his arm draped across her waist, him pulling her into his chest out of instinct, making her feel secure and comforted. Healing the child that lacked affection, that lacked love. To not be able to smell his cologne, and feel his mouth brush against her own.

For his smile and voice to be the first thing she wakes up to in the morning, the ones she starts her day with.

Instead, Eloisa was greeted in the early hours of the morning by a frantic Liz Forbes who claimed that the Council had taken Caroline hostage and that she was relieved of her post. In legal and human terms, there was nothing the woman could do to save her daughter.

Releasing a groan, Eloisa ended the call and jumped out of bed, hurriedly getting ready and rushing down the stairs of the deadly silent mansion. Silence in the Mikaelson home was always a reason for worry, for it was never quiet within these walls.

Which is why Eloisa halted in her steps, edging her ears to catch onto any sound that her siblings could have made, but there was none to respond to her, causing her to sigh.

"Rebekah? Elijah?"Eloisa called out, moving from room to room in hopes that she would find at least one of their annoying faces, but her hope perished as she made her way into the parlor.

Boxes filled with Nik's stuff lay on the floor, open and ripped apart. Drawings and paintings scattered across the room, which Eloisa presumed was done by Rebekah's hand, for she knew Elijah valued his brother's art more than his life.

But her sister's fit of rage was not what worried her.

It were the bullet holes that were made in a window closest to her, a pool of blood beneath her feet where Eloisa presumed Rebekah stood. "Oh for the love of God, a woman can't even sleep in peace."

Eloisa ran a hand over her face in expiration. She had no clue where she needed to go, nor any way of finding out the location of where the humans were taking her sisters to for what Eloisa supposed was to cause harm, eradicate them.

And rushing around Mystic Falls like a headless chicken did not seem like an appealing idea to the young witch, so she opted for the next best thing.
