Robin, "It's an open and shut case, how long has he been in Juvie?"
"One year now!"
Robin, "I say take it! If you think you can help!"
"I've seen him a couple times and he reminds me so much of Zac! I'm think about taking him in!"
Robin, "Now that's a big step T but I know you'll make the best decision!"
"Yes I will thanks for giving me the advice I needed!"
Robin, "You're welcome any time T!"
When Dom came out the office from with Ko I called him into my office!
"Dom I need to talk to you and Ko about something!"
Dom, "Sure Sis wassup?"
"So you know I've been mentoring at the Juvenile Detention Center!"
Ko, "Yeah we know!"
"There's a 12 year old there only because he was forced to be an adult before it was time! I'm thinking about fostering or adopting him!"
Dom, "What draws you to him?"
"The fact that he looks identical to my boys! He looks just like Zac and honestly I don't want to jump the gun but I think he may be my kids brother!"
Ko, "That's a big step T! 5 kids?"
"I know Ko but I'm not about to allow the system to continue failing him especially if he has Taylor blood running through his veins!"
Dom, "Alright so when you go this afternoon, I'll go with you!"
"That's fine! He's scheduled to be released today and I can't allow him to go back on the streets!"
Ko, "Alright well with Dom with you, we will definitely see if he sees the same thing!"
"Yes we will now I'm getting ready to head to this house I'm decorating and then I'll see you once I leave!"
Dom, "Alright Sis! Drive safe!"
I headed to the house I was decorating and started placing everything where she wanted it to go! Then I placed my mask on and painted her living room! Once I finished the mural I turned the air on so it could dry while I finished decorating everything else! After 2 hours I was finished and the paint dried nicely! I sent her pictures and then my phone rung!
"Hello!"
"Hello is this Mrs. Fatima Taylor?"
"Yes it is!"
"I'm Daniella Brooks, Zaden's caseworker and I seen the request you put in for a permanent placement through the detention center!"
"Yes ma'am!"
"I wanted to know if by any chance I could meet you at your home to do a home study before he is released later?"
"Yes that's fine! I'll meet you there in 20 minutes!"
I headed to my home, and my package had arrived just in time! I had already started placing things I knew Zaden liked into the room he was going to sleep in! Now was time to place his name over his bed and the pieces came! I placed them before placing the box into the trash can! My house is always clean because I make my boys clean their rooms and bathrooms before leaving daily!
There was a knock at the door and I answered it!
"Hello you must be Mrs. Taylor!"
"Yes ma'am! I take it you're Mrs. Brooks?"
"Yes I am!"
"You can come in! All doors are open for easy access and I'm going into my office!"
