Thirty minutes later Fatima walked into the house and walked upstairs to place Zuri into her crib! She didn't notice Zac sitting at the table with a somber look on his face! She called his name upstairs and didn't get an answer! When she walked back downstairs, she seen him sitting at the table with a box in front of him!
Fatima, "Hey Baby!"
Zac looked up and his eyes were bloodshot red, Fatima was worried so she sat next to him to comfort him!
Fatima, "Baby what's wrong?"
Zac, "She's gone T!"
Fatima, "Who's gone baby?"
Zac stood up pacing the floor, "My mom Yo she's gone!"
Fatima, "Baby calm down and tell me what happened!"
Zac, "I came home and there was a package on the porch! I didn't know from who because I didn't order anything but it had my name on it! But when I opened it, I realized that, that, that!"
Zac started stuttering and Fatima was trying to understand why? She looked at the package and seen a letter attached to it so she started reading!
The Letter
Your mother owed us money so we settle the score, she was nothing but a skank and a whore! We will keep in touch a little while more, we hope the loss wasn't hard to bear, she didn't have much so here's a lock of her hair! For all the times she left you in despair! Remember to hold your kids close because they'll be there when you need them the most! She tried hard to put up a fight but her sins came crashing down with all their might! You may not remember us but we remember you, we vow to protect you from here on out and to lead you no matter the route!

Fatima dropped the paper and her hands were trembling, "Baby who is V & H?"
Zac, "They're a part of the Russian mafia, my dad had ties with them before he was killed! They were like my aunt and uncle!"
Fatima, "So she's really gone?"
Zac, "If they got a hold of her, she is!"
Fatima, "I'm sorry for your loss!"
Zac, "I'm not!"
Fatima, "I thought that was why you were crying!"
Zac, "I'm crying because after years of captivity I am free! She lost the privilege to breathe when she tried to kill me! I knew it was coming but I didn't know who would do it! She tried hard to tear down our empire but we rose up! I prayed for peace like this! It may not have happened on the best circumstances but someone somewhere is looking out for me!"
Fatima hugged Zac tight because she knew deep down inside he loved his mother even if she didn't give him an ounce of love in return! She also knew he was hurting at the loss of both his mom and brother but couldn't process his emotions which she understood! He needed time and she was going to give him the time to grieve!
Her phone rang and she answered it! Ko informed Fatima that their court date was scheduled for tomorrow morning and she had the DNA results she needed! She would read them before the hearing! Fatima agreed and looked down to tell Zac but she realized he was sleeping on her lap!
