Over the next few days I was hanging out with my friends. We would go to the park, the mall, or each other's houses.
But today, I didn't wanna hang out with them. I wanted to hang out with Kylin...or at least see what he's been up to. We hadn't talked for almost 2 weeks.
"Two weeks?!" Shyanne cried out over the phone. "Two fucking weeks?! You have got to be kidding me!" She was acting hysterical.
"Shyanne," I said, trying to calm my friend down. "Its okay. I'm gonna talk to him."
"Well you better do it now," Shy said. "Not saying he's not a loyal person...but...you never know."
"This child," I thought. "Always thinking somebody's lying."
Shyanne is always ready to beat someone up for anybody....well actually all of us are. We almost broke up our entire friendship because of trust issues.
"I'm gonna talk to him right now, Shy," I said.
"You promise to call one of us, if something happens?" Shyanne asked me. I could hear the panic and worry in her voice.
"Yes, boo, I promise I'll call you guys if I need to," I told her.
Shyanne was silent on the other line. She was thinking about hurting Kylin, I just knew she was.
"Okay," she said.
"I'll be right over to your house if I need to, alright?"
"Alright," Shy said. "Bye."
"Bye."
Ugh. Now I had to call Kylin. Part of me was dying to call him, the other part dreaded having to call.
"Should I or shouldn't I?" I debated, thinking about it.
I decided to eat a grilled cheese sandwich and some chips, while I thought about it. It seemed as if the more I thought about it, the more I fought against it.
But then, I remembered when Kylin told me whenever I needed to talk to him, I could. He said I could talk to him about ANYTHING. Absolutely anything. Whatever was on my mind.
Remembering that, I found myself dialing his number and waited for him to answer.
He never answered....
I didn't leave him a message. Instead, I decided to blow up his phone with text messages.
