AMELIA'S POV

I was shocked by Kenan's action. He took my hand and stopped me so suddenly, and I felt a good kind of anxiety as we started into each other's eyes. I could get lost in his emerald green eyes.... They were the reason I didn't move and agreed to have coffee with him.

Oh, Amelia, get a grip on yourself. You don't even know him; he just spoiled your day! Or maybe not...? I was starting to think that I really wanted to get to know him, to hear more of his deep voice and his laugh. I agreed to his suggestion.

"Which shop do you want? Adidas?" Kenan asked me with a smirk. I laughed.

"Actually, I don't care."

"Okay then, I'll choose you the fashion," he said with a laugh, put on the hood of his jean jacket, and took my hand. This time, I was honestly pleased by that, although it was strange that he wore it since there wasn't any rain.

We went through the very crowded street with plenty of people. He led me to the Nike shop. Of course, I knew that. I chose the socks, he paid, and he tried to avoid people. I couldn't help but notice; it was extremely strange, but maybe he really had a problem with crowded places....

"Thank you for the brand new socks, Kenancim!" I said it in a Turkish manner but sincerely.

"Amelia, you are more than welcome. I hope you'll wear them, and no one else will bump into you so you could remember me," he said and winked at me.

I laughed. "Of course, I will. Oh Kenan, how dare I forget this situation in my life?"

We laughed together. His laugh made me laugh too. He was cute when he laughed.

"So, Kenan, do you know the Turkish language?"

"I know it, but I sometimes speak with mistakes, so I'm a bit anxious about talking in it. What about you, Amelia? Do you speak Azeri?"

"Mhm, but just like you, I make mistakes sometimes."

Kenan laughed and said, "I guess this is another mutual thing between us. Okay, now let's get some coffee. I think you're getting cold."

"Let's go," was all I said, because Kenan was right. The weather had gotten colder, and now I had definitely agreed with my heart and brain that I wanted to spend more time with him. I couldn't just say goodbye to him and never see him again. Even though I understand it's strange to have this feeling for someone I accidentally met almost two hours ago, it's a trip for me. I can relax this time. Nothing serious can happen with coffee, right?
