Amelia's POV
As we left the hotel, I held Kenan's hand tightly, feeling a mix of excitement and a bit of guilt. I couldn't help but think about Lisa and how I had argued with her when she brought Matthew along. Now, I was doing the same thing by bringing Kenan. I glanced up at him, smiling as his fingers intertwined with mine.
"So, love, how was the girl-talk about us?" Kenan asked, a playful smirk on his face.
"Well, it was really great, you know, real girl talk," I replied, leaning into him slightly. "But I know that Mike and Harry are waiting for their turn to grill me. Actually, probably just Mike. Harry, as always, knows everything. And how was your men's small talk? I hope they weren't all sassy and rude, or tried to pressure you?"
"Oh, they were just... curious," Kenan chuckled, giving me a reassuring squeeze. "But nothing I couldn't handle. Harry is chill, as always, and Mike, well, he's protective of you,I even get a bit jealous.I am joking, however I am jealous of other men . But we had a good chat."
I couldn't help but notice the way Kenan's face softened when he talked about jealousy. It was clear that he understood their concerns and he was okay with this, and that made me appreciate him even more.
As we strolled through the streets of Istanbul, the day felt perfect. The sun was shining, the breeze was light, and the energy of the city was infectious. We stopped at various spots, taking in the sights, and snapping pictures together. Kenan fit right in with my friends, and it warmed my heart to see him laughing and joking with them.
At one point, Harry pulled me aside as we walked through a bustling market. We spent not a little time.Kenan was with Mike having a discussion about football.
"Amelia, are you really okay with all this?" suddenly he asked, his eyes searching mine.
I nodded, smiling. "Yes, Harry. I'm more than okay. Kenan... he's different. I trust him."
Harry sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I can see that you're happy. I just don't want you to get hurt. But if you say he's good, then I believe you.
"Thanks, Harry. It means a lot to me that you care," I said, giving him a quick hug. "But don't worry, I'm being careful."
"And you know,I really have to say something to you,"-Harry said with a serious face.
'H,if it isn't serious or urgent, maybe you can wait?'-I asked him,as I wanted to go chat with Eva and Sofa and buy a gift for Kenan.
'Yes,of course,Ams,it can wait another 4 days'-Harry said that, but hiding something. And,I think I know what he wants to say me.Probably he found another new girlfriend, back in London, and he might afraid of telling me that, because I want Harry only the best,he like a brother for me,and I wanted for him a real girlfriend, not one night stand .
As I walked from Harry,Mike catched me,I hoped it would be a quick small talk.
Mike, on the other hand, was a little harder to reassure. We sat down on a bench while the others were browsing a nearby stall. "Amelia," he started, his voice low, "are you sure about this guy? I mean, he's a famous footballer. How do you know this isn't just... a fling for him?"
I took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "Mike, I get where you're coming from. But Kenan has been nothing but respectful and patient with me. I know it's hard to understand, but I feel something real with him. And I'm not going into this blindly."
Mike looked at me, concern etched on his face, but he nodded. "Alright, I'll trust your judgement. Just... be careful, okay?"
"I will, Mike. I promise," I assured him, squeezing his hand.
