"It's her. The one He wants."

I stand there, looking confused. Then I whip around and start to run towards the dark and creepy looking forest. Suddenly, I feel a large body on top of mine, pinning me to ground with an arrow tip lightly pressing against my neck. I hiss in alarm.

"You aren't going anywhere, young miss. You're the one who He wants. You're the one He destined to arrive. We've been waiting for a long time," he says, smiling tiredly. I see the lines around his eyes, and the wrinkles on his forehead, and silently send an apology to Emmie on what I'm about to do next.

"Sorry sir, but I'm currently looking for my friend. She said she left me a message in a tree, and I need to find it, or else an entity will destroy this entire world." As soon as I say the word 'entity', the two men go quiet, tightening their grips on their crossbows and nervously looking around, their pointy ears swishing.

"Maam, we're under His orders to not talk about that 'entity', but if you need to find a message, then find it before sunset so we can get to His palace before nightfall. It's not safe to roam around these places at night anymore," the taller one says, his voice deep and gruff.

"I need you guys to help me," I say, and they suddenly both kneel on one knee, bowing deeply before me. I try and tug them back up so I can talk to them, but they refuse to get back up.

"We would be honoured to serve the Immortal She," both of them say at the same time.

"Oh come on! I'm wasting time here. Find me an old and gnarly tree so I can see what my friend wrote for me!" I protest, stomping off towards the dark forest. The two men stand up and grab my arm, then run towards who knows where, dragging me along.

"Hey! Where are we going?" I call out, slightly stumbling along the road full of twigs, webs, bugs, and plants.

The smaller man - or elf, I don't know - looks back at me, beaming. "We're going to the oldest tree in Mystaxia!"

I don't ask any more questions, and after a while, we finally stumble to a tall tree with roots and vines curling along the trunk. As soon as I lay my eyes on it, I know it's the tree I'm looking for.

I immediately run my hands over the bark, trying to find a hole in it where Emmie must have put another letter.

"Maam? Over here! There's a piece of paper in this hole!" I run towards the voice, and exclaim in happiness when I see a tiny piece of paper. I reach to grab it, feeling exhilarated to feel the softness of it. Just like before, I rip it open and look in horror and the text below.

Willow. Help. Find me. Hurry. I need your help RIGHT NOW.

The paper looked ripped, as if someone had written on it in a hurry. I look down at the next segment of the paper, which says:

I know where the entity is and why no one talks about it the entity is in the middle of this world where all lava rises by ten times its degrees and anyone who talks bad about it or acts scared immediately gets dragged to who knows where and anyone who sees it gets dragged with them

I found this out from a villager, who got dragged off by some invisible creature as soon as they finished and they said to me help us help us get rid of this entity help us before vanishing I'm going to try and get to the middle by letting myself get dragged

I wrote this all on the way here, and I know I'm going to get dragged any—————

Here the paper ripped, as if someone had been tugged while writing on it. This must have been when Emmie had been dragged off. She must've thrown the paper into whatever home she could find while being dragged off.

"I need to find her," I whisper.

"Oh no you don't," whispers another entity.

I whip around, thinking it's said by one of the elves, but both of them are suddenly choked by something else and they both disappear. Not long after, I feel someone carrying me into the air.

"He will never have you. Our Lord must have you instead. He does not deserve such a person like you. Come with us. Do not resist."

Help.
