AUTHORS NOTE: I've had the happiest time of my life~~~~~

"Therefore," says the Entity, "I am not the monster you should be going after, but rather the rebeller you should be following." He taps his fingers on the armrest of his chair, and a scroll magically unfolds and shows Emmie and me a series of words that I can't read.
"I will read it for you. It is written in the ancient language, which you Earthlings will not be able to understand," says the Entity.
"Conditions you must follow are to not go off on your own. You must solely follow our team or group or leader. If found guilty of spying of traitorous actions, you will be immediately executed. However, as there is an Immortal standing in front of me, we will only isolate you and hope you go insane. Next, you are not to wander out of this palace. This palace has all the entertainment you need, including your own rooms, leisure spaces, books, whatever. Last of all, do not back out of a mission, no matter how dangerous it is. If you back out, it will be considered as a traitorous action, and therefore, you die or get locked up." The scroll magically rolls itself up again and out of sight. The Entity looks at Emmie and me, as if scrutinising our very features. Then, he claps his hands twice, and the lights start flashing different colours.
"Welcome to the crew, I suppose. You have been officially recruited, whether you'd like to be or not. You shall now serve us, and aid us kn the hope of defeating the Dark Entity."
"Aren't you already an Entity though?" I ask, once my tongue has stopped being glued to the roof of my mouth. The Entity sighs loudly.
"I am the Entity, as I am not that high ranking in the roles of darkness. I served the Dark Entity once, and collected acolytes, so they named me the Entity, a subordinate to the Dark Entity, who is the true representation of darkness, death, and fear."
"Yeahhhh no. How about I just call you Small Guy and the Dark Entity Big Guy?" I say. "That way it's easier to remember."
Elvar suddenly speaks up, "Maam, you shouldn't talk to the Entity like this. I'm not saying this because I support him, I'm saying it for your safety. He could crush you with one wave of his hand!"
I sniff. "So threatening. Can't rely on true loyalty?" I spin around and walk out of the room. I know the Entity will never kill me. He needs me for his grand plans. However, I have an agenda of my own. I don't plan to wait it out. I plan to get into the Dark Entity's palace. I want to know the origin of this place, and the origin of the orb, and how to get back. I don't plan to wait, as I have said.
As I am walking, Emmie catches up with me. "I can smell you thinking. You want to break into Big Guy's home, don't you?" I sigh. I was never able to hide anything from Emmie.
"Yep. I don't need to wait, and I don't plan to wait. No one can kill me because they need me. Small Guy needs me to overthrow Big Guy, and I know Big Guy has a role for me as well. I just want to figure out what."
"I'm with you," says Emmie, "but shouldn't we wait just a little bit to see what the Entity is planning to do? In case they actually do mean to charge down the palace."
"True. Whatever. I'm going to find our rooms. That way we have peace. I don't like the pink girl. Coquetta. What a stupid name. She's so pink, I bet I could see her miles away," I say, rolling my eyes.
"Man, are you jealous because she has a sugar daddy and you don't?" Emmie says, skipping over a rock.
"Nah. I really have a bad feeling about her. Like, one second she acts all innocent and the next she starts whipping you around the room with her psychic powers."
