Allison's eyes snapped open like she was waking up from a bad dream, but the truth is, she was waking up into a bad dream.

She pulled herself up, and then she realized that her wrist was bound along a chain to the corner of the bed. Her eyes fell to her half-naked state before they fell to a man coming out of the closet.

"You dumb fuck-"

"That's not polite of you to say."

"Do I seem like I was to be polite to you, remove this chain from me."

"You failed to kill me, and I had given you the chance to."

He placed the yellow t-shirt on top of the table.

"So what? You're welcome tying me up again."

"I had something better in mind, but I could still save it for another time. You seem like you will be failing a lot to kill me."

He started walking towards her and then he came to sit beside her.

"You've had your first kill, now what is the problem?"

He wasn't honestly asking her that. She thought.

"Does this seem like a game to you? Killing people and kidnapping and torturing people. This is not a mind game Niles. People are not your toys! You'd be dead if I could do it. Not that I won't but I will kill you when you least expect me to. I don't care if you're trained and good at surviving, I will end your life!!"

He stood up abruptly, then he walked to the window side as she looked at him.

"So, you need training?"

He looked at her.

"I still have a couple of captives; we can use them."

He walked to the door, leaving her in a state of confusion and she screamed out her frustrations. Shouting and screaming, swearing that she would kill him.

The following days included the psychopath taking her on "walks". Hunting people became a sport that he enjoyed but to her on the other side it was breaking her down. She was doing the killing and when she had protested, she watched her best friend get shot.

She'd cried the entire night realizing she was the cause and so she played his game. Hunting the people he let out into the forest and killing them. She felt herself slip, slowly and slowly and as months came to pass, she could barely feel like her old self again, but she was still there with him. Held against her will, doing things against her will just to save a life at the cost of another.

Niles had found a puppet for himself; he knew what he had done to her, and he was proud of himself. It felt like an achievement but there were still some things to be done. Such breeding took time and though it was coming together some things were missing.

Allison had cut her own hair short, when Neyra asked she said it got in the way. She was wearing a red dress short summer dress and walked around barefoot. She found her way to the back of the mansion and into the garden house. Though some things were meant to die, some things just remained the same with her.

She had a glimpse of hope in her. The flowers gave her that hope, for as long as the garden house flowers were healthy, she was okay. She'd keep in mind that something she wanted so much to live for, it held her together.

"You seem to enjoy yourself here."

His voice startled her, and she quickly looked around.  Neyra had shown her the garden, she took care of it, but Niles didn't know because every little thing that gave Allison a reason to live- he destroyed.

Niles finally came into view with both his hands behind him and they stood like that looking at one another.

"Do you like it? The garden-"

"No!"

She cleared her throat and began to walk towards him aiming for the door.

"I mean... no." She exhaled and began walking past him, but he grabbed her arm stopping her from moving.

He squatted in front of her placing the shoes in front of her. He stood up right and reached out to her hand, and she held onto his while she wore the shoes.

"Don't leave the garden. If you like it, then I'll not burn it down."

"I don't like it."

"It's 3am in the morning and you came to the garden because it's the only time you can sneak around."

"It's not-"

"The house has cameras everywhere Allison."

She didn't speak but instead pulled her hand from his.

"Burn it." She finally said.

She began walking back into the house and found her way into her bedroom. She closed the door behind her and got into the bed holding in the tears as a lump burnt on her throat.

She really loved the garden but that was the thing. Niles would burn it just because she admitted to loving the garden.
