"I'm done."

She said standing before her husband, who was typing away on his phone. He turned to look at her, his eyes roamed her body like they always had. Burning with passion and need to touch her, and own her.

He walked toward her and she stepped back twice.

"Don't reap this dress I love it."

He froze, chuckled and looked down pulling himself together.

"You're beautiful."

She came to stand in front of him, his eyes ran on her face and he pecked her lips.

"We need to talk."

She said and he noted it to be the second time she had said this and like the last time. This was not the right time she said.

He was the one to drive them out of the house, with security all around then he kept stealing glances at their surroundings.

"I want to take you home when this is all over."

"Home?" She asked

"Yes, where I grew up. So that our children will know home." It bluntly came out reminding both she and him of the secret that lay untold.

"I can't wait." She said smiling, allowing herself to fall into this mood of welcomeness.

"Though I'm not sure what does when all this is over means." She added looking out the window.

"The man you're meeting, he's a trafficker isn't he?"

"He's been involved."

"So he's a trafficker."

"No, he's not. He's only been involved get his sister out of the ring. Those were just rumours that passes around."

She nodded in relief.

"I thought he was, he's a tyrant I hear."

Niles doesn't reply.

"Is that who you aspire to be?"

"No.." he said with a chuckle.

"I just aspire to be a man with enough power to protect my family."

"Under his mentorship, you'll end up losing your mind. Is he married?"

"Not sure."

"Then he has no children, what would he understand about family."

"Ask him yourself."

"So he can kill me?"

Niles couldn't help but laugh.

"This is not funny." She said.

"I know, I'm sorry."

But he laughed still.

"I said it's not funny, why are you laughing? You're going out there to play in this big field that will keep me up at night when you don't come back because I'm wondering if you got killed playing with fire."

She said tearing up.

"Mi amor-"

"Don't talk to me, I'm crying and ruining my makeup."

She said trying to wipe the tears without ruinong her makeup.

"Nothing will happen, trust me."

"And if something happens."

"Then you remember your training. Make sure no man finds you, not even me."

Then he frowned at the thought that if it ever went South. He'd never see her again, no matter how hard and how much he tried. He would never find her or their baby.
