Allison looked at her ring deep in thought, it had only been a week since she went to see Niles' father. She found a lot of skeletons in his closet but at least she had helped get him back on the cartel.

She had acquainted herself with Niles' cousin, at a safe length without Niles' knowing. She was playing the game and moving the chess pieces without him knowing. Well at least she believed.

"You're okay?" Niles asked.

The car had been parked in front of the house for 5 minutes. She didn't know how she could face Sofia after she put her through so much, but Niles' was not only letting her go but willing to let them say their final goodbyes.

She nodded and reached her door handle. Niles phone rang in that same manner as she left the car and walked towards the house that held her sister captive.

The door opened and she walked in looking around and took in the look of the house. It was probably one of the houses that he owned, she thought.

Because there was nothing about it that proclaimed a sense of belonging. It was just empty, and cold.

"Ali?"

Allison turned to look at the girl coming from the kitchen.

"Sis"

Sofia ran toward her in relief, she hugged her in relief. She was not only alive but she was okay, she looked and seemed okay. Maybe everything was getting better now.

The two sisters sobbed in each other's arms. The hug remained for a while longer while they poured out their emotions.

"Are you okay?" Allison asked wiping her sister's tears and examining her.

She missed her, a lot that she was starting to forget how she looked.

"I should be asking you."

The emotional laughter followed as they held each other's hands.

"Uh, I missed you and I wanted to see you before you went home."

"Home?" She asked and Allison could only nod.

Sofia watched her then she frowned pulling back.

"What- what have you done?" She asked

"Sof-"

"What have you bargained for?"

She asked again casting her eyes to the ring on her finger.

"You're marrying that monster?!"

"Sofia-"

"No, why? I'm okay. You don't have to do this-"

"I need you to go home."

"Ali-"

"Sof- no, I need you to go home." She repeated.

"I cannot let you gamble your freedom for my own. I know you feel obligated to but you can't marry that man Allison."

She didn't say anything but she hugged her sister again , patting her back and assuring her that it was okay.

Niles eventually walked in, and as soon as they set eyes on each other. Sofia charged toward him.

"Sofia no!"

Allison rushed to push her sister away from him. She stood between them pushing her back while she shouted and screamed at him.

"Stop! Stop it! Sofia stop! It's okay. It's okay, I'll be fine. I've been fine, I'm okay. Please stop , Sofia-"

Allison kept assuring.

"Things are better this way, you get to go home and take care of dad and I'll stay. I promised to stay, I'm... Happy with him. I shouldn't but I am and I think that's okay."

"You don't have a choice but to be happy, you've been gone for months. He took you, and God knows what he has done to you. You don't need to protect him-"

"But I need to protect you, as my sister. I have to protect you. Go home. Stay home , live your life for the both of us and leave the company. Start a job that you love for yourself. Please Sofia, I've never asked for anything from you."

She desperately uttered. Sofia looked at her, with her brows furrowed she looked at him. She then nodded, Allison pulled her into a hug again.

"Thank you. I love you."

"I love you too."

Leaning to her ear, she whispered words that were only for their ear and Sofia burst into a sob then nodded smiling.

She watched her sister leave her behind, off to live a life for the both of them. One in which didn't involve his father's shaningans.

"Are you okay?" The man who had been quiet throughout this moment asked.

She nodded.

"What now?" Then she asked.

"let's first get home so you can sleep."

She looked at him and gave a faint smile. He said home. It was progressively hard but at least he was getting it. The difference between a house and a home. An acquaintance and a friend, love and acts of service.

"Is this appropriate enough?"

She asked walking down the stairs. Her thin maroon dress holding on to the thin straps that lied on her shoulders.  It's slit high enough to reveal her entire thigh, done justice by the fact that the dress was loose on her body. It's entire back bare, her silver sparkling stiletto matching her purse and jewellery.

He was her walk toward him, her eyes lustful as she looked at him like a prey. He swallowed hard, if for anything she knew that she affected him. She was half naked but covered with a cloth would best define the look.

"Niles..." She called out resting her hand on his chest.

He looked down to her height, conflicted and without realisation holding in his breath. She was getting too good at it, wielding her way. Getting him to do things for her without question.

Deep in embrace of her femininity, the woman was a sex appeal if not a goddess.

"I asked." She whispered, finding his eyes again.

They had not had sex in 2 weeks, she was in her emotions a lot after she spoke with her sister but now she was okay and lustfully missed his skin on hers.

"Come here."

He leaned wrapped his hand at the back of her neck softly pulling her forward. He hungrily kissed her, with urgency and need.

"Don't we need to go?"

"Baby I am in need of you right now, fuck everything else."

He wrapped his hands around her hips pulling her up before taking them to the bedroom.

"With the way you look like. We won't even make it to the car."

He buried himself inside her again, it had been close to thirty minutes since they cancelled their plans. The world would have to wait, he wanted her, needed her and so did she.
