"Release!" I exclaimed just as my pack and those that promised to help the king started to attack those that weren't for the king. I shifted my body backward from my horse's back so that I would be able to slide off easier once my horse did what I told him to do.

My horse snorted and jerked his head back, startling the other person that Leo trusted to watch over us and lowered his rear end so that I would be able to slide off easier. His ears were pinned to the back of his head, and he shook his head, trying to dislodge himself from the person, another male so that he would be able to help me get off his back safely.

"E-" The male turned around when they heard me go oomph while I slid the rest of the way off of my horse's back, and his eyes grew wide while his face grew pale. He turned to look at me and let go of my horse's lead rope and moved toward me while Riser stood there, being patient. "Are yo-"

I shook my head and started to cut the rope around my wrists, using the knife that Leo helped give me. "Help my father down off of Amara's back," I yelled over the ruckus of the snarls and growls as my and Gavin's pack attacked each other.

The man pressed his lips into a thin line and nodded. "Yes, Your Highness," he said and started to help my father off of Amara's back. "After this, I need t-" He cut off his sentence and grimaced, and I knew that he wanted to help his king fight against Gavin.

"Go," I said and nodded while I continued to cut the ropes around my wrists. "Do you know where my bow and arrows are?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question.

"I know where they are and will get it to you, Your Highness," the man said, bowing his head just a tad. He helped my father off of Amara's back and cleared his throat. "Do you mind if I help cut the ropes around your wrists and ankles, Sir?" he asked, nervously.

"Go ahead and do it," my father said with a quick nod. "Belle, how are you doing?" He looked toward me with a small frown in his face.

I finished cutting the rope from around my wrists before I started to saw away at the rope around my ankles. "I am cutting the ropes from around my ankles," I said and looked around to see if I couldn't see Leo, my heart aching and becoming filled with worry for the man I called friend.

I knew that he wanted to help the king as soon as he was able to, entrusting my life and the life of my father to this man that I hadn't really had contact with even when I had been "a part of" Gavin's pack as his girlfriend.

"We don't have your gun," the man said and finished with my father before he quickly moved to my side. He saw the work that I had done on the rope and hesitated, looking at it and then at me while he bowed his head. "May I..."

May I help cut the rope from around your ankles..?

I sighed and nodded, pressing my lips into a thin line. "Please," I said and moved my hands away from my legs so that he would be able to cut the rope quickly. "Where's Leo?" I asked and looked around to see that he was gone, and my heart ached just a tad while worry filled my body.

"Here," Leo said and walked over to me while the other male cut the rope off around my legs. He had my bow and arrows in his hands, and he had a worried and nervous look on his face while he looked around and then at me.

I frowned, and my heart became filled with worry while I looked at him. "Are you ok?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question. I started to stand, and the male helped me stand even without me asking him to. I couldn't help but offer him a small smile in thanks before I grew serious while I looked at Leo, studying my friend.

Leo tried to smile but couldn't. He slowly nodded and cleared his throat, shifting on his feet. "I am ok," he said. He handed me the bow and arrow after I stood and bowed his head. "Are you ok?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question.
