Requested by Abigailstylinson91: Y/N keeps being stood up by Peter, but since she knows that he's Spider-Man, she accepts it. Despite this, MJ confronts Peter about it and makes him feel really bad about how many dates he's missed.

I stood by the fountain in the park, my hands rubbing together to keep warm as I waited in the spot that Peter and I always met up at for our dates. The issue was that I had already been waiting for two and a half hours, making my boyfriend of two years very late. I sighed and looked at my phone, still zero calls or texts from him to explain why he was late. Well, I knew why he was late, which was annoyingly why I couldn't be pissed at him for standing me up yet again. And that was because he was Spider-Man. Peter and I had been dating for two years now, our relationship having started when my best friend had asked me out on a date with a stuttering voice and nervous eyes. I had known about him being Spider-Man for a while at that point and so was prepared for our relationship to not be your standard one, given that one of us was a superhero. What I hadn't been prepared for, however, was being constantly stood up and forgotten about on dates. Tonight was the perfect example, this being the fourth date in a row that Peter had absolutely sworn on our relationship to be on time for, but then had left me out in the cold regardless. I knew that it was wrong for me to get mad at him considering that he was saving and helping people, but part of me couldn't help it. I sighed and unlocked my phone before clicking on his number. It went straight to voicemail, which was what I had expected, but I sighed anyway as the beep that signified the start of the voicemail recording filled the call.

"Hey, Pete, it's me. Um, it's been almost three hours, a-and that's fine, but I'm going to get home, okay? We'll try again tomorrow. I love you, be safe." I nodded before hanging up. I sighed and bit my lip as I started to walk towards the entrance to the park, tears pricking my eyes as I desperately tried to not get upset over my boyfriend once again standing me up. Even if he didn't mean to.

"I don't think that that's your purse, bro, colour is wrong for your eyes!" Peter sassed loudly, the boy swinging after the thug who was running away with the woman's bag who he had just snatched. Peter got in front of him and dropped down into the alleyway, making the thug scramble to stop before they collided.

"Now, are we going to do this the easy way, or the way that ends with you stuck to the wall, waiting for the cops?" Peter teased as he put his hands on his hips.

"Fuck you, Spider-Man." He spat before turning and starting to run back the other way.

"God. I'm sorry that it had to be this way, man. I really am." Peter sighed and shook his head before raising his wrist.

"Karen, web grenade." He demanded. The clump of web shot out from his wrist and landed on the man's back, making him cry out as it exploded and launched him against the wall before sticking him to it.

"And I'll take that, thank you very much." Peter nodded, the thug groaning and trying to get free as Peter gently plucked the bag from his hands before sauntering out of the alleyway. He looked down the street, his eyes landing on the woman whose bag it was as he walked towards her.

"Ma'am, here you go." He spoke as he gave it back to her.

"Oh my god, thank you, Spider-Man! Thank you so much, you're such a hero!" She exclaimed as she tightly hugged him.

"It's alright, ma'am, all part of the job." He chuckled awkwardly as he returned the hug.

"Peter, you have a new voicemail from Y/N." Karen spoke in his ear. His eyes widened underneath the mask.
