Cramps and interviews (Tom Holland)

Requested by zoielittlejohn: Tom and Y/N are at an interview and Y/N is on her period, so is having really bad cramps. She's had bad cramps all day, so she ends up breaking down during the interview. Tom helps her through it and tries to make her feel better.

I lay on my side in bed, my eyes squeezed shut and my hands desperately clutching my stomach in pain as I tried to find a position, any position, that would relieve my cramps even just a bit. I had started my period a day ago, and the cramps had been practically debilitating since they'd started this morning. I had been lying in bed, completely helpless whilst my fiancé, Tom, did all of my chores and housework that I normally did. I squeezed my eyes shut and buried my face into my pillow, the pain unbearable as I heard the bedroom door open behind me.

"Darling?" I heard Tom's gentle voice call out.

"Mhm?" I mumbled into the pillow. Within seconds, I felt his hand rest on my shoulder, making me peel an eye open to look at him as he crouched beside the bed to look at me. He sighed and gave me a small smile.

"The cramps are still bad, huh?" He asked.

"I can't move, Tommy. I've had as many painkillers as is sensible, and they did nothing. It hurts so much." I choked and shook my head.

"I know, love, I know." He nodded, making me gulp and let a tear fall from my eye as he leant forward and gently kissed my head before looking back at me.

"Should I cancel the interview?" He asked softly as he raised his hand to start stroking my hair. My eye widened at him

 "Fuck, I completely forgot that that was today." I groaned and squeezed my eyes shut as I rolled onto my back and held a hand to my head.

"I don't blame you, sweetheart, you've been in so much pain. It's alright, I'll call them up and cancel it." He reassured, making me sigh and bite my lip as he kissed my cheek before standing up. I gulped harshly as I thought. The interview that Tom was talking about was one with Sky, and it was the biggest interview yet to promote the new movie that we had starred in, 'Cherry'. It was an important movie to both of us, both because of what the message was, but also because of the fact that it was our first movie as a couple. And given that it was an independent movie, despite the fact that we had advertised it a lot on our social media and so had gotten the word out, doing an interview with Sky would further push it and get it out there. Meaning that I just had to buck up and do it.

"N-no, don't...don't cancel it." I sighed in defeat as I shook my head. Tom looked at me, his eyebrows furrowing in uncertainty.

"Love, honestly, I'm sure that they'll understand, you're in a lot of pain." He scoffed.

"It's an important interview, Tommy, we need to do it. Also, imagine what everyone will think of me if it gets out that I cancelled an interview because of period cramps? No one will give a shit when I say that they were bad, don't forget that we still live under the patriarchy." I grumbled, making Tom chuckle and nod as I sat up slowly.

"I know, darling, and that sucks. But okay. But let me know if you need anything, I'll do anything that I can to help you." He promised as I stood up and walked to him.

"You can't help me right now, but how about you get me pregnant before my next period? That'll save me for the next nine months." I nodded, making him laugh as I curled my arms around his waist.

"Yeah, saves you with a much more permanent solution that we are not ready for yet." He smirked and shook his head.

"True." I huffed, making him chuckle and kiss my head before starting to head out of our bedroom.
