Requested by anonymous: Y/N gets her period whilst she's with Peter, but he's really sweet about it, and does as much as he can to make her feel better.
Peter's P.O.V
Peter stood over his bed, his backpack against the sheets as he packed up what he needed for the day ahead in school. His phone pinged by the backpack, making the boy's eyes flick down to it. His heart fluttered in his chest as he saw that it was a text from his girlfriend of a year, Y/N. He couldn't help but smile and shake his head as he picked up his phone, his mind loving the fact that he still felt butterflies every time that she texted him. He clicked onto the text and read her reply to the one that he'd sent.
Peter: How are you this morning, baby? X.
Y/N: Can't lie, not great. Don't feel well :( X.
Peter's eyebrows furrowed, his smile lessening at the idea that the girl that he was in love with didn't feel like herself. He just hoped that he could do something to help her. He bit his lip and started to type out a response before pressing 'send'.
Peter: Aw, no, angel, I'm sorry :( Do you know what's wrong? Is there anything that I can do to help? X.
Y/N: It's okay, not your fault :(. I don't know what's up with me, so I also don't know how you can help, but thank you anyway :( X.
Peter sighed and his heart sank slightly at the fact that he couldn't do anything to help his girlfriend. Or maybe...he could. He looked at the time as his head tried to work out if now would be early enough to leave to make a slight detour on his way to school. He nodded and bit his lip.
"Yeah. I can make it." He decided with a shrug before zipping his backpack and putting it onto his back before leaving his room.
"I've got to go, May, I'll see you later!" Peter called in his thick Queens accent, making the woman look at him over her shoulder from the kitchen. Her eyebrows furrowed.
"You're leaving a little early, aren't you, Pete?" She chuckled.
"Y/N doesn't feel well, so I'm going to swing by Delmar's on the way to get her some chocolate and snacks." He nodded.
"Aw, honey, that's so sweet. Whoever raised you raised you right." She smiled, making him chuckle and nod as he opened the door.
"That they did. Love you!" He called out.
"Love you too, have a good day!" The kind woman returned before Peter shut the door and started to head down the hallway.
Y/N's P.O.V
"You still don't feel great, huh?" Peter sighed, his eyes glued to me as we walked along the hallway to his apartment with our hands joined and fingers intertwined.
"Nope. I took as many painkillers as I could, I went to the school nurse, I drank so much water, I don't know what's wrong with me." I shook my head. Peter sighed again and gave me a small smile as he let us into his apartment. I had felt incredibly shitty all day, and I had no idea why. Normally, I felt similar to this on my period, but it wasn't due for another week, and I hadn't had the typical other warning sign of cramps, and so I had written that off in my head. But that left the question of why, if not my period, I was feeling so shitty and sick. At least I was with Peter. He couldn't make the pain go away, but he could certainly try with cuddles and kisses.
