I can't believe my mum let Jake sleep over. I wasn't really expecting her to because we hadn't shown any form of friendship at all.
The car on the way to my house was really cramped because we brought our dog, Hugo with us as we weren't expecting to bring another person back this meant that my sister Isobel, me, Hugo and Jake had to cram in the back. Jake sat in the middle as he was the smallest of us all. I could see he was a bit uncomfortable so I held his hand as if he was my little brother. I was expecting him to pull away but instead he smiled at me and held it back.
"We're here!" Shouted my Mum.
I was curious as to why because we could all see then noticed that Jake must've fell asleep halfway there.
I was about to wake him up when I noticed the flowery pattern sticking out of his trousers.
'He's still wearing the diaper' I thought.
"Oh uhm mum" I said.
"Yes Nika?" She responded.
"Why don't you three go inside while me and Jake get the bags?" I asked.
"You sure?" Asked William. "It's not like you to offer to help"
"There aren't that many anyway" I said while laughing.
I watched Mum Isobel and William go inside as I nudged Jake in the side to wake him up.
"Why are you still wearing the diaper?" I asked in a stern voice.
Jake just looked at me with a sad expression.
"You had plenty of time to change out of it when we went back to your house." I continued.
"I didn't." He said while holding back tears.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"Both Liam and William needed the toilet so I just thought I'd change here. Also you still have that pink diaper for me so I didn't think there'd be a point in putting underwear on just to change out of it in under 20 minutes"
"I suppose you're right" I said sighing. "I'm sorry for getting mad.
"It's ok" he said wiping a tear from his eye.
I could tell he was upset so I hugged him.
"Let's get the bags in then" I said reaching out a hand.
"Ok" he said as he grabbed my hand and got out of the car.
I'm sorry for not updating in a while. I've recently gone back to school so haven't really had the time. I'll try to update as much as possible but can't promise they'll be frequent. Sorry again for the inconvenience.
