Waking up at 6:00am everyday is going to be horrible. Normally, I get up at 7:00am but I'm in my final year of school so have GCSEs coming up. That means I finish an hour later and start an hour earlier.

I walked into the main hall with an untied tie around my neck and saw no one I liked. After waiting for about two minutes listening to the annoying people, I saw Rosie walk in.

"Hey Rosie! Where's Chloe?" I asked after seeing that she was alone.
"She's not here yet and neither is anyone else." She sighed. "I'll sit with you until she gets here if that's alright with you?"
"Of course!" I said as we sat down.

Me, Rosie and Chloe had a sort of brother-sister relationship. I loved them both platonically and always liked seeing them. Chloe was a lesbian so had no interest in me romantically which obviously led to a lot of repetitive questions when people saw us together despite Chloe coming out publicly at least six months ago. After about ten minutes, Chloe arrived hugging Rosie and me.

"You sure took your time!" Rosie said. "We're going up for our booster already!"
"It's fine." Chloe responded. "I sit with you anyway."
"Not me though." I interjected. "You forget I'm in a different class to you two. I sit with the sporty guys."
"I know Jake. We'll talk to you at break." Chloe said back.
"Anyway good luck on your test!" They both said.
"Thanks, you too!" I responded as I watched them walk the other way.

The test was pretty easy. We only have two extended writing questions on paper 1 so the questions that you get could either make or break you. Luckily they were about Macbeth's power and greed in A Christmas Carol so I did really well. I sat there checking my work and the time for ten minutes and, before I knew it, it was time for our break where I immediately ran to Chloe and Rosie to talk to them about the test. They also thought it was incredibly easy.

"Rosie can I sleep at your house tonight?" Chloe asked.
"No, sorry." She responded. "My mum has builders round all week to remodel the first floor so it's really crowded."
"If you want to you can stay at mine." I said. "My family is going on holiday for the week so I'm home alone"
"Your mum is leaving you home alone for a full week?" Asked Rosie.
"Yeah but my sister, Emma is gonna check in every day to see how I am. I just can't go with them because school's really important currently."
"No Offense Jake," Chloe interrupted. "Don't you think your mum will say no?"
"Why would she?" I asked.
"You're nearly sixteen, gonna be home alone for a week and want a girl to stay over." She said.

'I'm an idiot.' I thought.

"Just come anyway." I said trying to forget about what just happened. "You don't like guys so nothing will happen."
"Only if you're sure." Chloe responded.
"How will you get to school in the morning?" I asked. "I bike so you can't really go with me unless you run."
"We can get the bus." She responded.
"Alright then." I responded just as the bell went. "I'll see you tonight."
"Bye" Rosie and Chloe said simultaneously.

Sorry if this chapter is badly written. I'm still trying to get chapter's out frequently despite going being at school a lot.
