final thoughts

Thank you so much to everyone that has read this story. I don't care if you only read one word, or if you read the full story. You read it either way. I'm going to use this final chapter as a way to talk about my thoughts on writing this story and more stories that I'm going to write in the future. You don't have to read this chapter but, then again, you didn't have to read the last 27 but here you are!

Ending

I never had s specific ending for this story in mind. I just wrote it for fun and didn't have a direction at all.
Though when I was writing chapter 25, my plan was to end it on a "and then 5 years later, this happened". Sort of like a flash forward to see where everyone ended up but I scrapped that idea in favour of leaving it open ended.
You can headcanon what happens in the future for now. It also leaves me with a way to continue this story in a possible sequel. So two birds with one stone.

Family

I chose to write out Jake/ Olivia's family because I realised how much of a hinderence they'd be later because they'd prevent me from doing future storylines like nika's sleepover, Chloe's sleepover etc. You can call it lazy writing and to that I would agree.

Inconsistency

For those of you who have kept reading the story since chapter 1, you'll know firsthand how inconsistent I was with my updates. One day I did 3 or 4 chapters, then I went months without an update. To that I apologize. I can't even make the excuse of having a busy life because I don't. I had exams at school for one week in September and two in October so that excuse can't work.
I will try to be more consistent when writing my next story because I recently got a laptop which should give me motivation to write more.
If you spot any inconsistencies or grammatical errors, please tell me and I will fix them.

I'd love to hear what you thought of this story as a whole and any improvements you think I could / should make. Bear in mind that this is my first story so I won't be on Shakespeare levels yet.

Anyway, thanks for reading.
I'll see you in the next one!
