**In the morning**

The morning air was crisp, and the sun shone brightly as Bae and Sullyoon stood in front of Haewon's apartment, both filled with a mix of confusion and concern. Bae had been trying to reach Haewon since early morning, puzzled by her friend's unusual absence. They had agreed to meet at the studio for an important discussion at 8:30 AM, but it was now 9:00 AM, and there was no sign of Haewon.

Sullyoon had also faced her own confusion when she found Lily absent from her apartment. With breakfast plans in mind, she had hoped to spend the morning with Lily, only to find the apartment empty. Multiple calls to the blonde singer had gone unanswered, increasing Sullyoon's worry. She had quickly contacted Bae to see if Lily might be with Haewon at the studio.

When Bae informed Sullyoon that Haewon was also unreachable, they decided to head to Haewon's apartment together. The concern etched on their faces was mirrored by the sense of urgency in their steps.

Upon reaching Haewon's apartment, Bae punched in the pin code with familiar ease, the numbers ingrained in her memory from countless visits. The door clicked open, and the sight that greeted them left them both stunned.

The living room was in a state of disarray. Wine glasses and an empty bottle sat on the coffee table, remnants of an intimate evening. A satin dress and a crumpled shirt lay carelessly on the floor, hinting at a passionate night. The sofa's cushions were askew, further evidence of recent activity.

Bae reacted quickly, her hand shooting up to cover Sullyoon's eyes, attempting to shield her from the scene before them. "Don't look," she said, her voice a mix of protectiveness and embarrassment.

Sullyoon, however, was not one to be easily deterred. She gently but firmly brushed Bae's hand aside, her eyes scanning the room with a mixture of shock and curiosity. The state of the apartment spoke volumes, and the implications were clear.

Bae, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement, let out a soft sigh. "Well, this explains why neither of them was answering their phones," she murmured, attempting to bring some levity to the situation.

Sullyoon couldn't help but smile, her concern melting into a quiet, amused acceptance. "I guess they had a lot to talk about," she replied, her voice filled with a gentle teasing note.

Just then, they heard a faint rustling sound coming from the direction of the bedroom. Bae looked at Sullyoon, raising an eyebrow in silent question. Sullyoon nodded slightly, indicating they should check it out.

They walked cautiously towards the bedroom, the quiet of the apartment amplifying each step. Bae knocked softly on the door before slowly pushing it open, revealing Haewon and Lily still wrapped up in each other, fast asleep on the bed. The scene was one of tender intimacy—Lily's head rested on Haewon's chest, their legs intertwined under the sheets.

Bae and Sullyoon's initial shock gave way to a gentle understanding. They quietly backed out of the room, closing the door behind them. They looked at each other again, this time with smiles that held a mix of amusement and approval.

Back in the living room, Bae let out a quiet laugh. "I think they'll be alright," she said, more to herself than to Sullyoon.

Sullyoon chuckled softly, her eyes shining with happiness for her friends. "Yes, they will. They've come a long way."

Deciding to give Haewon and Lily their privacy, Bae and Sullyoon moved back to the kitchen area. Sullyoon started tidying up, collecting the wine glasses and the empty bottle, while Bae straightened the cushions on the sofa. They worked in comfortable silence, both reflecting on the unexpected but welcome development in their friends' relationship.
